he has been sleeping with us since he was born. he never would sleep in the crib. anyway he has a habbit of having to take a bottle to bed. this causes all kinds of trouble trough the night. we lose it. he decides he does not want it, yet he still cries for it. and the spilt milk is making me cry. it litterally draws flies and as a result we have to change bedding every day or two. i would love to get him into his own bed and do so without a good night bottle. what will this take?

My daughter is 2 years old, and she screams bloody murder every time I do her hair. (With or without snarls) I am looking for tips to try to make it easier on her and I. I currently use a 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner (but have tried numerous products), spray in conditioner from Johnsons, and have tried soft bristel brushes, hard bristel brushes, and the new Ouchless brush by Scunci. Her hair is about 2 inches past her shoulders and it is really fine and by the end of the day it is soo snarled that I give her a bath just to make the brushing eaiser. She also has a really bad colic in her hair that if I cut it any shorter than shoulder length, it will stick up in 2 spots and look pretty funny. Has anyone gone through this, do you have any tips? I am welcome to tips on styling, products, and any other advice that you might have!! THANKS IN ADVANCE!

My baby will turn 30 months in a couple of day and he is no longer wearing diapers during the day.

At night I still put a Pull Up on him, just in case but his diaper is dry in the morning.
He is so proud of himself for staying dry!! And I am proud of him too, he did this himself, i did not need to train him.

Should I try making him wear brief at night too?
I don't want him to feel bad and regress if I do and he lets himself go at night.

My 30 month old is NOT wanting to train, and we must get it done so he can get into a better school.

does anyone else think that the show "the doodlebops" is absolutly ridiculous!! imean it serves no purpose. i personally think all of the shows on the Disney channel are purly for time-consumption and have nothing educational to say. does anyone else think that, that daniel cook kid is a little smart-a$$? i am much more comfortable letting my son watch either pbs (i love pbs.sprout) or noggin....anyone agree?/disagree?

He says that he doesn't know right from wrong ... and i think a prayer is fine, because I believe in God... he told me to let him grow up .. this has me confused, it's true he is innocent and i dont understand how im taking his innocence, by the way my son is 16 months old. What do you think ?

My child is 16 months old. She just joined a child care for the first time. The staff seems to be pretty nice. The concern is that when I go to visit my child room, usually the door is shut. I use to be able to peak through the class window on the door and see her play, but now they have this thick clear plastic on the other side of the window. I can not see the kids now. They also have a sign that say please knock before you enter. Is it that they don't want no one looking through the door? I've have been to other child care facilities with my other daughter and I love looking in the door through the class window before I walk in. Should I be concern? I want my child to be in a loving envirnment. I do everything that needs to be done to protect my child safty. I even visited other child care facilities, before I choose this one.

My son, after years of being perfect in his room is now terrified of his room at night. He screams bloody murder and says he doesn't want to be alone. We even redid his room in dinosaurs, his favorite, and he's still doing it. The hall light is on now, his night lights aren't adequate any more. Any suggestions??

I give it to her at night with water, too. She never used a pacifier. So, I feel maybe she uses the bottle to soothe her.

she is approaching 2 1/2 - she is a very smart girl and has been showing all signs of being ready for the potty for a long time now. she holds it in, she takes off her diaper after she goes, she gets really embarrassed when she makes a bm in her diaper. however, she will not sit on the potty. i hate to force her - but she hates diapers and has been more than ready to go on the potty for awhile. any suggestions?

I was cleaning the kitchen, and my son comes up to me with a quarter in his hand, and his mouth wide open... he does this when he put something in his mouth that he didnt like the taste of (like blueberries and stuff) but anyways, I asked him if he ate money, and he laughed and kept laughing. I asked him again and he said yep... now i dont know whether to believe him or not. i called the doctor and told the lady about it, and she made an appointment for him to be seen today. Has anyone gone through this? Should I be really worried??? Im worried sick now, and my fiance asks like it isnt that big of a deal.
