My baby will turn 30 months in a couple of day and he is no longer wearing diapers during the day.

At night I still put a Pull Up on him, just in case but his diaper is dry in the morning.
He is so proud of himself for staying dry!! And I am proud of him too, he did this himself, i did not need to train him.

Should I try making him wear brief at night too?
I don't want him to feel bad and regress if I do and he lets himself go at night.

Ask him what he'd like to do. Give him the choice. Sounds like he's good to go. Accidents DO happen, but if they do don't shame him, but let him help you with the laundry (pour the soap in himself and push the button!) because he's a big boy now.

In my opinion, you should just put plastic covers on his mattress, and then place a lap pad or some time of soaker on top the sheet, so that if he wets it will be an easy clean-up. That way he gets to feel like a "big boy" and wear his undies at night, and won't feel like a baby for having to wear a pull-up or diaper. Congrats on the potty training, I hope my daughter will be that easy!!

Hold off on the pants at night. All kids end up "training" themselves eventually. There really is no need for parents to "potty train". A child will do it on their own when they are ready. But keep the "pullups" on at night because he will have "accidents" from time to time. It's not regressing, it's just having too full of a bladder at night.

That's great, that's how It went with my three kids, though for one it was over 3 years old.

If he is waking up dry , try to have him in undies, but if he does make a mistake don't make a big thing out of it. Just say it's ok, and change the sheets.

To be honest,if he did the training on his own,I think I'd let him make the choice.Put the briefs idea out there but let him choose. This way its he'll think its more his idea, building self esteem even more.Give your little man a big hug,he sounds like a smart little guy.Good luck.

Let him make the choice. And if he does wear briefs to bed and wets, just tell him it is okay to have an accident at night and you are not mad.
