I am 7 weeks pregnant with my second child, and my husband and I are in firm agreement that this will be our last.

I will need to discuss this with my doctor at my 8 week appointment on Tuesday.

How much recovery is required afterwards?
Is it painful?

Are sick of the people posting really idiotic questions?

It's as if the forum is not monitored.

Eg. the one guy posted something abt aborting a child with down's syndrome & then another abt whipping a kid.

As far as I know this is a forum for people with some sort of decency and these whackjobs are taking the piss out of everyone else.

Am I the only one who noticed this?

i have done 6 pregnancy tests 5 came back pos took i to the doctors,doctor did his own test which came back neg i have used 2 different brands of tests 1 of them is an ultra early test,i am getting all the symptoms but haven even missed a period yet i am due on on monday some body please tell me whats going on. i am a friend of michelle n

Ok, so back in November if 2006, I had my last baby, a little bouncing baby boy. I had a little girl in October of 2003, and she went into distress and ended up having to take her C-section, after 13 hours of full labor, with no meds. I was not to happy, but due to the welfare of my baby, I was ok with the situation. Anyways, with my last pregnancy, I had a lot of pregnancy complications, and ended up getting my tubes tied. My periods have been funky. They come and go whenever they want. This morning, I started my period, after being 6 days late. I just figured my body was re-adjusting to getting my tubes tied, and since it has only been a few months since I had Ethan. Well I am having horrible cramps, and what I am bleeding, although its very little, is bright red. I know people can get prego having their tubes tied, but really what is the risk? I have a phone call out to my doc, Im just waiting for him to call back. Thanks

Im 39 wks and had a discharge last night but there was no blood in it. I then had bad pains about an hour after and my stomach was hard. But nothing else has happened since!

I am due to tell my parents I am pregnant and am scared at what they will say! Because I am still living at home - me and my boyfriend are very happy with the news and are planning on getting our own place asap but am scared at what my parents will say because we weren't really prepared for all this eg. not having our own place and also I still owe my parents a bit of money (not a lot but a few hundred). Any advice?

I am 39 weeks and 6 days, 3 cm and 60% effaced. This is my 3rd baby. At my doctors appointment yesterday, they stripped my membranes and I was sent home. In the meantime, I lost my mucous plug. 4 hours later I started having contractions every 12-15 minutes like clock work for the next 8 hours. I ended up trying to sleep and woke up everytime the contractions were unbearable. However, by morning the contractions have subsided. If the contractions weren't so intense I would have thought they were braxton hicks (but they were much more painful than the one's I had previously). Is it possible for labor to stop?

I eat well (maybe a tad too much bread), but I drink plenty of fluids, and I eat my daily fruits and veggies. I also excersize regularly. I cant image how Id be feeling if I didnt eat well and excersize!

I found out yesterday from my dr that my blood pregancy test came back negative so therefore I'm not pregant from what she told me and I have started my what I hoped was my period for 2 days. But I still feel a bit nausueas but not as much and I have noticed that I've gained few pounds,not sure as too why. How accurate are blood pregancy tests and are there such a thing as false blood pregancy tests?

Hi,

I'm 31 weeks pregnant. I'm not planning on having my baby any time soon, but what risks are there for baby if it happened? i.e: Brain damage, lungs, stillbirth risk etc...

The thing is (and as anyone who has had a complicated pregnancy will understand), I have had a high-risk pregnancy, and been on bed rest since I nearly miscarried at 16 weeks... I just want to know the risks for my baby, as I'm only just starting to breathe easy now, it has been a very difficlut few months, I've been so scared of losing her.

When I wake up in the morning I cough from stuff settled in my throat and there is always a bit of blood in it. When I cough during the day there in no blood in that. I think this may be settleing there from my sinus's. Has anyone else had this happen?

I am beginning my 4th month of pregnancy and I am no longer with my baby's father. The doctor says she think we are expecting twins because my uterus is measuring too big for my dates. He hurt me really bad, emotional wise. We've been together since September of 06 and I just found out he has been lying to me this whole time. We had an altercation and things got heated between me and him. He says we don't have anything to talk about and it's true we don't. He loves me and everybody knows and I love him too. But the people he think are his friends are not and his girlfriend(s) want him for nothing but his money and I tried to tell him. But I said I was done trying to save him, and I am. I thought it was best to stay away from him until July/August when the baby is due. Will things be different when the baby(ies) get here? Will he ever change?

i'm newly married and we haven't thought of a baby still. probably after 5 yrs. during my intercourse last nite, i thought i could try this withdrawal technique.i dunno how far was i succesful in it. but i'm very much sure when i had that feeling of ejaculation i exactly pulled it out. and the ejaculation was not in the vagina. but still i'm confused.what should i do so that i abort it earlier incase, things are going the other way.

im 12 weeks pregnant and i know that alot of the "showing" comes from water bloat at first but all of a sudden the bloat is gone and my stomach is flat as a pancake....AT 3 MONTHS??? it doesnt even feel firm or hard like it did, i feel fine i dont feel pain or nauseaus im still peeing like a race horse and eating like a pig but....shouldnt i be showing even a little??? even the itchy stomach went away!!! its my first baby so im constantly worrying, i go to the dr on monday but i just wanted to get some advice or opinions or help to reassure me until then.
