Ok, so back in November if 2006, I had my last baby, a little bouncing baby boy. I had a little girl in October of 2003, and she went into distress and ended up having to take her C-section, after 13 hours of full labor, with no meds. I was not to happy, but due to the welfare of my baby, I was ok with the situation. Anyways, with my last pregnancy, I had a lot of pregnancy complications, and ended up getting my tubes tied. My periods have been funky. They come and go whenever they want. This morning, I started my period, after being 6 days late. I just figured my body was re-adjusting to getting my tubes tied, and since it has only been a few months since I had Ethan. Well I am having horrible cramps, and what I am bleeding, although its very little, is bright red. I know people can get prego having their tubes tied, but really what is the risk? I have a phone call out to my doc, Im just waiting for him to call back. Thanks

I dont want anyone to take this the wrong way. I got my tubes tied because of medical problems, not because I didnt want to have anymore children. I would love to have more. I regret what I did, but with my problems, it was best. I would love to be prego again. My son was a very pleasent surprise, due to the fact, that is when all my med problems started happening. My chances of getting prognant at the time I was told were 2.5%. Well, someone thought I was ready again.... I would love to be prego again. I just wanted to clear that up. Thanks

My tubes have been tied since I was 24. Before that I had normal periods, normal cramping, etc. After having my tubes tied I deal with PMS that I never dealt with before. Horrid cramping, boobs are as sore as can be, and my bleeding is bright and has been ever since (12 years ago now).

According to my doctor it's because I am no longer on the pill therefore I'm not getting the extra estrogen they supplied me. All she told me to do was buy extra pads during my periods, take lots of midol and advil and drink water like there's no tomorrow. My periods are now more calmer, and are 28 days precisely, but it took 12 years to get "normal" or somewhat close to it. I've asked lots of women I know who's had their tubes tied if I'm normal with all this or one in a million, and everyone else with tubes tied says they are the same as me, and I guess you too.
