i went to the hospital because i was in pain for several days, my lower back and lower abdomen, and it was getting very unconfortable, i was also very stressed thinking that i was pregnant, at the hospital they did an ultrasound and also this type of thing where to see what the problem was, but nothing was found and they never mentioned pregnancy, after not finding anything they did a CT scan and told me i had a cyst on my left ovary?, does that mean i wasnt pregnant?

i've had a pain in my left shoulder (at the back) for around 2 months now.
it started feeling like amuscular pain and i went to the doc after 2 weeks as i was concerned, he said it was just muscular and would go away . well i still have it and now it feels like a hot needle is stabbing into my shoulder .
can anyone advise what this is ?
could it be tension or something worse.
i am 38 weeks preg, but everything with baby is fine.

i am 27 weeks pregnant and for the past month or so evry time i have sex i get horrible cramps in my back, and lower tummy. i also have a very watery dicharge and almost feels like i need to use a no.2. It hurts to take a wee after sex and as this is my first pregnancy i wanted to know if this was slightly normal?my boyfriend and i do try to keep to keep to positions that arn't known to be painful, or damaging but no matter what position i do after sex its unbearable. I can barely walk. please help!

Hi everyone, im now 10wks pg and bleeding. When i was 6 wks i was spotting so has ultrasound and we saw the heartbeat and everything was fine, the bleeding stopped and i had some brown discharge, now for nearly a week i've been having alot of bleeding but it never gets on my underware, its only when i wipe, i've been to gp and have another ultrasound tomorrow. Has anyone else bled threwout pregnancy and had healthy baby, im so worried, thank you for any help

My doctor said there was bout a30% chance of misscarrying in the first 3 months. I was wondering if that percent goes down each month? Like maybe at 1 month you have a 30% then at 2 months you have a 20% chance of misscarrying.

I've been on bedrest since 23 weeks because I was starting to go into preterm labor. I'm almost 100% effaced yet thankfully I haven't begun to dilate.
As of my last dr's appointment my little guy is heads down and according to the dr my spotting and whatnot is because he is "right there" pushing down.
My first pregnancy was normal. What I've been experiencing this time around is my lower back and my hips... good gawd, they pop and click and crack almost like something is broken.. Sometimes I wonder if something in my lower back is the sounds are that loud. Is that normal at all? Like I said with my daughter I didn't experience this at all. So my first thought is that it may just be my body getting ready but im not too sure. Any ideas?

I know the normal symptoms of being pregnant are fatigue, keen sense of smell, missing your period, and some spotting but is there anything else I should know about? I am late on my period, about 4 days and have NEVER been late before in my life. I have been noticing in the past week or so that I am really exhausted a lot of the time. I also got a little bit of a cold this week also. I've read a lot about having a keen sense of smell when you are pregnant, its gotten so bad that my nose will actually start to hurt when someone walks by with really strong perfume or cologne on! My lower back hurts at work because I'm on my feet for 8-10 hours a day. I have been through all the signs of being pregnant and even woke up this morning with some spotting and very light cramps. I have a doctor's appointment on Tuesday but I am stressing like crazy right now! Help!

I am 35 and my doctor recommends that I have the first trimester screening. It involves a blood test and ultrasound at 11 weeks. While it seems harmless, I have talked with a lot of Moms who had this done and had inaccurate results. This ultimately caused them a lot of unnecessary testing and stress. I was just wondering what your experience has been. Was the result accurate or not?

i know im having braxton hicks every so often..just not enough to worry about..but they are painless..they only way i can tell is when my stomach tightens really tight and then loosens like 10-20 seconds later..is this normal for b.h to be painless..>?

i waited so much for this ultra sound, and to my disappointment my baby was sitting, so the sex could not be seen. i wanted to know the sex so i can know colours of baby things to buy.

i was reading a pregnancy magazine and it said dont point your toes while u stretch? why? i do notice pressure on my belly when i do it but i thought it was the muscles stretching over my baby. im so tired i want to stretch but i dont want to hurt the baby. and have to get things out of my reach, my bf is not always around to do things for me...if it hurts does it mean im over extending?

As far as jobs that are physically stressful mine is one of the lowest, but it's still very stressful mentally and emotionally. Okay, so I work in a call center handling Comcast Video tech support and billing. So I get at least 5 calls per day where I have someone yelling at me and being extremely rude. And it's really hard to deal. It was okay before hand because I could just sit there an mostly ignore the fact that they were being difficult and just focus on the job, but now that I'm 24 weeks pregnant I get a little bit more testy when people are rude. So my question is...Does anyone know a good way to deal with stress at work when you don't have much time for breaks and leaving the work area? Also, we don't have much time in between calls, so that really cuts down on relaxing time too. Any suggestions?

how old do you have to be in Kentucky to have your tubes tied? Im only 20 years old but this is my 3 rd pregnancy and will be my 2nd living child. I have a 2 year old and im 28 weeks pregnant and my husband and I have both decided we definately don't want anymore children, main reason being we can't financially afford to take care of any more other than the 2 we will have. My question is how old do you have to be, and if you arent old enough what do you think is the best form of birth control until you are old enough, and why do they make you be so old to do this? I think 20 year olds with 2 kids is plenty and should have the right to get the procedure done if they want to regardless of age, as long as you are over 18 is should be the persons choice.

Im 7 months and im afraid of all the pain that im going to be going through. This is my first baby so i dont have any idea what to expect. So im wondering what the contractions are going to feel like and what its going to feel like during the delivery. purplish so called road map (veins) on both breasts. have been thier for 2 weeks real heavy .... face is so clear... no signs of pms lol.... that is weird for me normally my face is broke out so bad....I am 23 and my mother in law says it is because I am getting old lol I have never heard of that I am still young what do you think it could be ?
