Pregnancy - March 2007

Ok, I had asked once before "what are the chances of me having twins." A lot of people said it doesn't matter what's on the father's side, it's what's on the mother's. SO please explain my boyfriend's genetic history & explain why every generation male has been an identical twin.

His great great great grandpa,
great great grandpa,
great grandpa,
grandpa & grandma [aw two twins marrying--how cute],
his father,
and him [his twin died tho] were identical twins.

Also, his father [in another relationship] had twin boys.


p.s. I asked this question a little earlier & I received some replies like: are you sure they were identical, etc. Well, considering it goes back to his great great great g.pa WHO KNOWS! According to his family, they are all identical tho. Someone also mentioned fertility drugs...NONE of them took that!?!

I was there earlier today.. I was having contractions 2 minutes apart for over 2 hours. but i was only 1 1.2 cm's dialated.. I was very naseous when iw as tehre and they gave me zolfron.. well it only worked a little and im soo naseous still! And i am still getting diarrhea sooo bad!! I feel like **** and contractions keep coming every 2 minutes and are starting to increase to my lower back.

but i dont wanna go all the way back there if im not dialating to get sent back home.. People keep saying.. WALK welll its hard to when your feeeling really sick..

Any opinions or anything would be awesome!!

ok this is really odd, I asked before about pregnancy and stuff, and I took a hpt and it was neg, so I forgot all about it until a week ago when I realized that I have not had a preiod and it was almost the end of the month, so my question is could I have gotten a false neg or was it too early for the hpt to find my hgc levels?

i no what dialation is but when someone says that there like 80% effected for na example what does that mean?

i am 14 weeks pregnant and nearly engaged, and i was wondering when would be a good time to

1/ plan the baby shower
2/ have the baby shower

and also this is my 1st pregnancy (obviously) and i have never been to a baby shower, what types of things should i do and buy? and how do i prepare for such a big event?

I've recently discovered I'm pregnant (around 4 weeks actually). I don't have a OB/GYN appointment until next week & my regular doctor simply said "you need to check with your OB" when I called to ask him.

I have pretty bad allergies that I use Zyrtec to counter, which is the only med I've found that works, & I also use Afrin nose spray from time to time when the symptoms get very bad sinus wise. I've not really been able to find anything on these meds online. I was wondering if anyone has used either during their pregnancy or if anyone has a link about medications to stay away from during pregnancy.

twice already ( today and yesterday) I have woken up feeling nausious and with a weird lower stomach feeling... i cant really explain the feeling... i just feel like it hurts and i want to throw up. i have been ttc, is this an indicator of pregnancy?? has it happened to anyone before??

Just wondering...............................how long this will last!
I am 37weeks and 5days pregnant, doctor said I can go at anytime lol..........I am 100% effaced. But Havent started Dialting yet............
Was being monitored today for High BP and was put on complete bedrest until he is here.......well My contractions where rather high on the "TACO" machine up in the 70's and the 80's and some where rather painful, Im still having them, And There in my back, somtime radiate all the way up my back, down into my hips, kinda feels like someone is pulling me apart also have the tightned stomach kinda like when i was just having BH Contractions .....lol.......but I just wanna know how many of you felt this, how long it lasted, it gets worse when i lay down, and Im kinda like an Insomniac and have a problem sleeping anyway lol so when i lay down im usally soooo tired, but the pain is kinda keepin me up.....just need to know how long.i know i dont need to go to the Hosp. ITs not time

I just wanna know how long it should take before I go into labor. This is my second child. With him I started having contractions and went to the hospital. I was 3 centimeters dilated so they kept me. I know this time that I'm dilated 1 centimeter. But I don't know how long I could stay this way.

My sister-in-law is pregnant with her second child. She is right at 10 weeks. She had her first "real" Dr.'s appt. today where they did the full pelvic exam. Her Dr. told her that she was already dialted to a one. Is this normal??
She was very concerned, but her Dr. told her that unless she was cramping or bleeding that this was okay. I've never ever heard of anyone dialating that soon. Should she be worried about a miscarriage or is this something that has happened to other mothers out there?

Any thoughts would surely ease both of our minds. Thanks!

yeah I know go take a test...but she did and came out negative...still I read that for some people won't show until 8 weeks of pregnancy. She had unprotected sex 5 weeks ago. Maybe it's too early to show on hpt?!
