The only person I knew this happening to, was my best friend from high school's mother. When she was pregnant with my friend, they told her she was having a boy, and they were wrong. But, that was a long time ago and ultrasound is more accurate now. That's not saying they are right all of the time. It is easier to mistake a girl for a boy than a boy for a girl. And if they can't tell, because of the baby's position, it's most likely a girl.

I had a co worker that really wanted a baby girl and they told her they think its a boy but she believed in her heart that it was a girl so badly because she had 2 boys already. Turns out it was a baby boy.
My daughter didnt want to show what she was at all.
I think the tests are not 100% because they are merely looking for the lil pee pee or lack there of and that can be so many factors that make them think it is when it really isnt.
Go with neutral colors unless your doctor seems certain and you get the same result on more than one ultrasound

my mom was told I was a boy... I am not considering I am now pregnant myself.
I don't know why they told her I was a boy because they didn't offer ultrasounds back at that time. I guess the doctors back then just went off of symptoms and how high the mother carried etc.

I was supposed to be a boy, my mom was supposed to be a boy and my cousin was supposed to be a boy. Then again all these sonograms took place 18 years + ago. Ultrasounds are much clearer now. I was told i was having a boy and i have a boy.

it happened the other way around with my nephew....during the ultrasound, the doc. says she is expecting a baby girl.... when she gave birth she had a baby boy...mother really was very upset....she even suspect of maybe they change her baby... the doc. and relatives explain and comfort her...until she's O.K... the boy is now 3yrs. old.

Yes, that is why one should wait until they are more than 5 months. Doctors make mistakes and sometimes the baby moves alot.
