i went to the hospital because i was in pain for several days, my lower back and lower abdomen, and it was getting very unconfortable, i was also very stressed thinking that i was pregnant, at the hospital they did an ultrasound and also this type of thing where to see what the problem was, but nothing was found and they never mentioned pregnancy, after not finding anything they did a CT scan and told me i had a cyst on my left ovary?, does that mean i wasnt pregnant?

I'm sure they would have told you if you were pregnant. It was probably just the cyst causing all the problems.

Did you take a test before hand that said you were pregnant?? If you were pregnant then they would've told you, especially if a ultra sound was done and I'm sure they took blood from you too. No, you are not pregnant but good thing they found out you had a cyst on your ovary because that could have been the problem you were having with pain and nothing else. Good luck to you.

Not neccessarily, ovarian cysts are painful and have nothing to do with pregnancy. And if your just thinking your pregnant nothing would show up on an ultrasound yet. The only way to determine an early pregnancy is a blood test. Though for women they should ask if your pregnant or think you could be before they do a CT scan, and if you think they are they have to take blood and check before they scan you bc it can harm the baby.

No, sweetheart. It means you had an ovarian cyst.
Here. Got this info for you.
"A cyst is a fluid-filled sac. In most cases a cyst on the ovary does no harm and goes away by itself. Most women have them sometime during their lives. Cysts are rarely cancerous in women under 50. Cysts sometimes hurt - but not always. Often, a woman finds out about a cyst when she has a pelvic exam.
If you're in your childbearing years or past menopause, have no symptoms, and have a fluid-filled cyst, you may choose to monitor the cyst. You may need surgery if you have pain, are past menopause or if the cyst does not go away. Birth control pills can help prevent new cysts.
A health problem that may involve ovarian cysts is polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). Women with PCOS can have high levels of male hormones, irregular or no periods and small ovarian cysts."

If they told you it is a cyst then it sounds like it is just a cyst. They can be very painful, especially if they burst. I "think" you can control the growth thru diet. I am appalled they they didnt give you any information about it at the hospital. You can get a little info here http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/001504.htm#Treatment
and I would also look into watching what you eat to control it from growing.

Did they do urine or blood testing? I'm sure if they looked at your ovaries they would be able to see if you're pregnant and would have said something. Take an EPT. An ovarian cyst can cause pregnancy type symptoms such as no period.

umm if you had an ultrasound.. probably not.. but you should take a pregnancy test at home. to be extra sure.. and dont stress more because if you skipped a period the stress will only make it longer.. so be patient. it will come to you.. take the test though (first response)

Cysts are VERY painful!! I had one :( You probably never were pregnant, but it doesn't mean you can't ever get pregnant. My friend and I had cysts, and we both have kids :)

Sounds like it. If you were pregnant, I'm sure they would have mentioned it. You should have asked if you were wondering - they would have done a blood test.
