Why are you sitting waiting for answers? Go to the hospital now! This means something is wrong with you or your baby! Lower back pain? You may be having a miscarriage. Just go!

When pregnant with my first child I began to bleed at about 5 or 6 weeks. It lasted for about a week all together with a bit of bright red blood at the beginning, then tapering off, getting lighter and browner after a few days. I then started bleeding again at 29 weeks and again it lasted about a week. This time I was took to hospital as there was a fair bit of blood and they wanted to check me over. I never had any pain and things just settled back down again. Usually if it is a little bit of blood and there is no pain then it is ok. When you're pregnant then your cervix is a little bit more delicate and can bleed. I went on to have a healthy baby boy at 39 weeks and have since had another 4 children. It's difficult not to worry about things like this when you're pregnant, but bleeding in pregnancy is quite common so try and relax. Congratulations when the big day arrives!

I bled through the first few months with my son, the midwife and obstrician said that I had a cervical erosion which is a sort of patch on the cervix. It is not dangerous or means you will lose the baby. I also had blood only when I wiped. To be sure though contact your GP or early pregnancy unit of your local hospital.

I miscarried at 9 weeks both times I miscarried. I woke up with massive cramping and uncontrollable blood loss. It was like an extremely heavy period. I wouldn't call "blood when you wipe" a lot of blood. Ask the doctor but if you saw the heartbeat then there is a good chance that you will be OK.

I bled with my first baby but only for a day, you should take plenty of rest and if the bleeding becomes heavier and you get period pain cramps contact you gp, i know it sounds cruel but if are going to miscarry there is nothing you can to do to stop it, just try and rest. Good luck

Do you have HPV or any other STD that could cause a bleeding while wiping?
As a woman who has had 3 m/c.. I'm always going to suggest you see your doctor. You should be seen at least once weekly if you are bleeding.

You must inform your doctor about this and what precautionary measures you have to do. It happens to a friend of mine before; she had to be bed ridden for a month and less activity plus medication but then she get over it. She had a baby boy who's in college now. So don't worry, relax and go to your doctor asap. Goodluck

Intermittent bleeding in early pregnancy is not a cause for alarm unless it is accompanied by pain and cramping.
But you should still always let your doctor be aware of it whenever it happens.

Yes its perfectly normal to bleed like that. when i was almost 3 months i was bleeding just like u are. The only time to panic is when there is a lot of blood almost like ur period and unbearable cramps. everything should be fine

Is this around the time that you would have expected your period? Some women find that they get a slight bleed around that time.
I have heard of lots of people who bled throughout their pregnancies and their babies were fine :)
