i'm newly married and we haven't thought of a baby still. probably after 5 yrs. during my intercourse last nite, i thought i could try this withdrawal technique.i dunno how far was i succesful in it. but i'm very much sure when i had that feeling of ejaculation i exactly pulled it out. and the ejaculation was not in the vagina. but still i'm confused.what should i do so that i abort it earlier incase, things are going the other way.

So... basically you are asking is the withdrawal method a successful contraceptive strategy?

In short - no it's not reliable in preventing pregnancy. Especially if are going to have to keep doing it for 5 YEARS!!!!

You'll both be very frustrated after 5 years of withdrawal.

There are many other contraceptive methods that are way more reliable. Make an appointment with your doctor or family planning clinic to discuss your options.

Withdraw "method" is very ineffective as pre-ejactulate is very high in sperm count. The "success" rate is very low, like 9% or so, but without any type of prevention method, it's like 8%.
