I last came on the 24th Dec and was due again on 21st Jan, still no sign of a period yet, except Im getting the same feelings of expecting a period such as stomach cramps, upset stomach, severe lower back pain etc. also ive had a bit of spotting today too. I have been trying for a baby for nearly 2 years now and will be overjoyed if I am pregnant but Im too scared to do a test incase its negative as it gets me soo down! Has anyone else experienced a similiar feeling?

I stopped nursing my daughter in May of 2003 so it has been over 3 years now ever since I am still able to express a little liquid when I squeeze my breast is this normal or has this happened to anyone? I have alway found it strange but have never had it checked out. Just wondering if I should be worried or not and I have not gotten pregnant again since her.

I am 6 weeks pregnant with my first child. My husband is very happy and excited. The only problem is he is not comfortable with the intimacy factor during pregnancy. I have explained to him that it will not harm the baby and have even showed him my books that state how to be intimate during pregnancy......but he says he's not comfrotable with it and i'm not even showing. We usually have great intimacy together and have never had any problems.Has this ever happened to someone before and did it get better as the pregnancy went on? What can I do? my fiance and i are having a baby and she is diabetic. the doctor gave us a new diet for her that say she has to stay under 2000 calories a day to keep her sugars where they are supposed to be. she loves sweets and junk food so this is hard for her. i need some good recipes of things i can make for her but are still in her diet.

My wife is now 8 weeks pregnant. She went and had blood work down and ultrasound last week. They found a heart beat and said everything looked good however her HCG levels were high but her progesterone level was low..just 8.7. They gave her progesterone suppliments to take twice per day but now she is freaking out. She said her breasts don't feel as full as they did last week. Can someone tell me if this is a sign of things going wrong or is this nothing to worry about? Has anyone had a similar experience with a positive outcome?

We are not talking, 'falling down' dizzy, but just uncomfortable dizziness. I know this has to do with decreased blood pressure due to an increased amount of blood for pregnancy. But is there anything she can do to help with this?

so my best friend is living with me and she just had a miscarriage the other day. im not to sure as to what to say to her or to how to comfort her. i have a 5 1/2 month old lil girl and i dont no how to help comfort her! i think that mylil girl can help, but wont that make her miss her baby more? At my appt. last week, I was informed that a CPC had been discovered on my baby's brain. An appt. was set up with a specialist to have a level two ultrasound. After suffering a week of pure hell, that appt. was yesterday and THANK GOD, everything looked great:) Of course, as with any other pregnancy, he couldn't tell me for certian without the amnio, but he did not recommend I have one, he said I should take the good looking ultrasound, drop the issue, and stop worring:) I know what these things are after much research and what they mean, but has anyone else experienced this or had a loved one experience it? It is truly terrifying, I feel so blessed to have been able to meet with a specialist and be reassured. Thanks for your answers.

I don't know if I am having a boy or a girl yet but I need some help with my nursery. We are going to be using our computer room as the nursery and putting the comp desk back into the family room. The walls are a medium sage color.

If it's a boy I will leave the walls green. We have bamboo blinds and I'm thinking of going with a jungle theme. I want to paint a large tree starting in the corner of the room and branching out acrossed the wall. Then I want to have little monkeys and giraffes and elephants everywhere.

If it's a girl, I don't know what I want to do. I'm not sure if I want to repaint the whole room. I was thinking maybe leaving it green and getting some pink/green ginham curtains and bedding, then maybe painting little fairies or flowers around the walls. Otherwise I want to paint it pink, then I'd have more options.

Anyone have any tips or ideas of how to do a girls nursery???

I took 1 pregnancy test this morning and it had 2 lines, but it took a few minutes for the second line to get dark enough to really count. Then I took another 1 not even 20 minutes later and only 1 line came in. [One line means neg. and 2 lines mean pos.] Could I have taken them too close together? The test says you should but don't have to use your first morning urine, which I did for the first test but not the 2nd.
I've also heard that if you take a home test and it says neg. then you actually still have a 50% chance that you are pregnant, but if it says pos. then your probably pregnant. Anyone know if that's true? Thanks in advance!

Okay, I'm pregnant! After asking all these questions to determine whether it was possible or not I finally took a hpt and yep, its positive. Now my worries shift to whether or not its ectopic. I know, everyone is going to tell me to go see a doctor, which I will. But this is just to get some insight from those who may have had one or know about ectopic pregnancies. I'm feeling everything on just one side of my lower abdomen, cramping etc. Is that a sign of ectopic pregnancy or could this be normal?

im pregnant with my third child and its a boy. my first two are boys. im so disapointed. how do i deal with this? i know its wrong to be upset but i really wanted a girl. i love this baby no matter the sex but im still upset. how do i hide that from my husband? how do i make this feeling go away? i feel like crying.am i a bad person for feeling this way? did anyone else feel like this ? thanks.

I just found out Friday that I'm going to another baby. I had to see my doctor early because I had a stroke last year so it will put me in the high risk pregnancy catagory. She did an internal ultrasound but couldn't see the baby. She said I'm prob. just very early pregant, prob. about 4 weeks pregnant. How soon can the baby be detected on any ultrasound. Any info. would be helpful. I'm driving myself crazy over this. Thanks.

I am 36 weeks and my OB checked my cervix yesterday, I was 3cm dilated and 90% effaced. After my exam, I was bleeding a lot. He said it was most likely from him checking me and the cervix being so senstive with lots of blood vessels. The bleeding was heavy yesterday, and I had some blood clots last night. I called one of the nurses and she didn't seem concerned. Over night I couldn't sleep because I had constant low back pain and dull aches in my abdomen, I haven't noticed any contractions as of yet or if I have, I can't tell the difference between them and normal baby movement. I've been a little nautious (burping alot) and have gas. My bleeding atleast has slowed down this morning. Does it sound like I am going into labor soon?

A close fiend asked me a question I could not answer. She has taken a pain killer (vikoden) because of an agonizing toothache. 10 days ago she had unprotected sex and fears what if she's pregnant. (she is feeling so guilty but could not handle the pain) If by some chance she is pregnant since 10 days is to early to tell. Will that one pill do any harm? Okay i was on the pill for a few years and last month i stopped taking it. I had my period right around christmas and everything was fine. My husband ans I only had sex once unprotected around the 10th or so. I still haven't had my period yet though. I took a test 3 days ago and it came up negative. I have been cramping like i would when i am getting ready to have my period but nothing comes. I have no other symptoms really , no breast soreness or anything like that. My friends say that is most likely just my body getting used to not takin the pill anymore. I have never missed a period once.

Could i be pregnant?
