Pregnancy - January 2007

My friend called me at around 5 in the morning, crying. She was telling me that she was scared of coming out pregnant. Being under ecstasy... She didnt really bother to think of protection, just the urge of pleasure. Now she said that.. She took a whole pill, had sex and then took half of another pill.
It just made me wonder... Contraceptive pills prevents unwanted pregnancy. Now I know that when you're pregnant if can affect the baby, any drugs can..... but she isnt pregnant. Can ecstasy, just ecstasy itself... In her condition... Can she still come out pregnant?

To all the mothers out there: In the early stages of pregnancy, did you feel light cramping and fluttering? I am about 5 days late with my period, and I have been feeling this for the last few days.

Also, is there a certain time of day that is best when using a hpt? (i.e. early in the morning??)

i started my period with heavy bleeding it was two weeks late and i noticed heavy clotting and my urine is like peeing blood i had cramps in my pelvic area and i never so far have had these symptoms before my next yearly is in 2 months could this be serious ? or is this something my body is experiencing for the first time oh by the way i'm 26 can somebody try for a answer here thankyou

I'm 16 weeks pregnant...saw the baby several times, but I get so scared I'm going to miscarry. Never did before, this is my first pregnancy, but I still worry. How far along were you when you miscarried and why did it happen...I mean, did the doctor have a reason why?

These last few days I have come across girls saying they were raped 4-5 months pregnant and in the same breath posting about losing weight in a month

Or girls saying they are 15 and pregnant and then telling people they are a OBGYN and giving medical advice! (BTW that perosn got a best answer too)

I love the 16 and am I pregnant ones too and in the same breath the story has changed

The thing that worries me is that these people are giving medical advice that people actually use or lying about very serious subjects like rape that you shouldnt lie about. Do they have no soul? Do they relaize how wrong this is?

Do you take medical advice from people on here??

I heard that 1 out of every 10 healthy women that are trying to get pregnant actually do and that there are only four days out of the month that you can get pregnant...what do you think about this?

I am not far along enough to have a serious worry, but can't help but think about it... my baby is in a transverse position, and I have diastasis symphysis ( this could be the reason she is transverse..which is why I realize there is a chance she won't turn.) Has anyone had a transverse baby? If so, did the doctor try to turn him/her? Not looking for any insults, I am simply looking for answers. Thanks=)

I have been feeling like crap! I have really bad pain in my stomach kind of like BAD GAS. I have not been up for anything. All i feel is my stomach hurting. I have pain in my lower back and i dont get any sleep im always waking up. I also feel sick all day and at time for bed i feel alittle better.

I was wondering how far into my pregnancy can I move? I HAVE to wait 6-8 weeks, for my husbands paper work and I can go without him since we are moving 5hrs away, we alreay have a new house and everything will be ready when we get there, his family is preparing the house, I wont be doing ANY of the moving, maybe packing plates or blankets something easy, my husband is going to do all the heavy stuff, I am going to ask my doctor next week just wondering what you had to say about it?

I'm just curious because all of our friends are also expecting boys and since my fiancee works at a resort, he always has time to socialize with everyone who comes in. Pregnant women who have confided in him have all mentioned that they're having a boy, just like us! They're around 20 weeks like me. Thus far, we haven't stumbled upon anyone expecting a girl! I hope this isn't some crazy epidemic or our sons will have a hard time finding a girlfriend!

Back in August I was molested in the woods and the rapist is in jail now. I am now 5 months pregnant at 14 and there are several people who want to adopt my son who is still in the womb not born yet.
My older brother and his wife can't have kids and they are intrested in raising. There are people at my church that want the baby. There are 3 adoption agencies that are after it.
I chose not to get an abortion b/c that is like taking life away from an innocent.

Who deserves it more?

I don't know how to approach him and tell him. I am no longer with my teenage son's father. I have had about a 2 year relationship with someone else which means that it is not my ex's child. I also haven't made time for my son and boyfriend to spend time together because I don't want to force my boyfriend on my son.....what should I do? Hi Everyone! I am 33weeks pregnant and there is something that has been boggling my mind. I cheated on my boyfriend one day when we were agruin and now I'm pregnant! Now the 1st day of my last period was May 21,06 and I didn't find out I was pregnant til I was damn near 4 months.I went and had a ultrasound that made me 21 weeks and 1 day which gave me a due date of March 13, 07. I cheated wit the other guy 1 time on June 22 but according to my doctor I didn't conceive after June 17 but I'm still worried. I Had My Period Past 2 Month But They Were Very Light, And Just On The 23rd of This Month I Bled But It Was Light Aswell And I Havent Bled Ever Since.
