do i have to take the HIV test, during the prenatal appointment, I heard it was optional.. and some plalces may not require this.. Does anyone know from past experience

I'm so worried, I know I need to relax and just wait it out but that's a heck of a lot easier said than done. I had unprotected Sex on New Years and then used emergancy contraceptive the next day. (Plan B to be exact). Then I switched to another type of contraceptive to use during sex which I used for two weeks after New Years. I haven't had sex this past week because I didn't want to (AT ALL!) and my period was supposed to come on Tuesday (this past Tuesday) which it didn't....I took the Clearblue test on Tuesday late night which came back "Not Pregnant" but still haven't gotten my period which is now late (I had it last on Dec. 25th).

My Questions are:

1. Am I just being paraniod?
2. Will Plan B cause the period to be screwed up?
3. How many of you have been part of the 1% that the tests gave you inacurate results???

Sorry about the length of this question, I'm just really nervous.

people on here saying its impossible to get a period when your pregnant!!! ITS NOT!!!!! I AM HAVING A PERIOD AND I AM CURRENTLY 33 WEEKS PREGNANT DUE ON MARCH 15TH..

i have not got one positive home test but ive heard my babys heartbeat and seen it on the ultrasound..

i just want everyone to know its completely possible to have a period while carrying a child.

My water broke when I was 27 weeks prego, then delivered at 32 weeks due to infection in the placenta. I'm in my second pregnancy and I'm at 30 weeks, but I am terrified that it's going to happen again. Is there any one who has gone through the same thing? And if you had more kids how did the next pregnancy turn out?

on getting pregnant...now that I am I am happy....BUT SO SO SCARED! I can't stop crying. We haven't told anyone yet until I go to the doctor (which is in a couple days). I am really scared....it's so different than when you think about it and then when it actually happens....PLEASE TELL ME THIS IS NORMAL!! Anyone else like this? Well i was supposed to start my period yesterday, and i did. well it was really light, and my periods are never light. They normally last 3 - 4 days. Now im not bleeding at all, and its only been a day! Its like my period only lasted like 12 hours..is that normal? Someone had told me that i might be pregnant. Is that true? Please help me! Thanks

my doctor got a heart beat of 180 beats a minute. and he says i am about 6 to 7 weeks along. the baby is ok. and i am not about to miscary. thanks for the kind words and advice to my previous question. now i havent had a period since 10/07/06 and i am only 6 to 7 weeks. how many here have gotten pregnant 9 weeks after their last period?that is what happened to me and i am curios as to how many have done this to.

Basically My firend is 5 months pregnat and wants my boyfriend and I to move in with her whcih at first i didn't think was that big of a deal but now i realized that i don't want to waste my summer taking care of a kids im only 19 and want to live life and party and stuff and not grow up. i am wondering if there is something else wrong with her, the doctor said she is 10 weeks, but she is showing and gaining aot of weight, also is bigger than when she was preganet with her other kids. i hear that at 10 weeks u r suppost to lost weight not gain it. is there something else wrong with her.

Ive been having brown spotting since saturday the 20th. I ovulated on the 14th (I took a ov test). My period isnt due until the 28th. Anyone else ever have this happen? It happened last month too. Ive been ttc for the past 3 months now and am wondering if anyone else has brown spotting for this long which either stops before getting or leads to their period?
