Pregnancy - January 2007

I have a very sore area under the skin to the right on my midriff. There is no rash, redness or any other detectable sign of anything being wrong there, but it really hurts when I stretch, turn over etc. i have spoken to doc who just shrugged his shoulders and was no help at all (im changing docs!). Im sure its nothing serious but it hurts and im curious to find out if anyone else has experienced anything like this? I have a sneaky feeling it is to do with my midriff stretching quite fast to accommodate the baby, do u think that would be possible? I have asked this question before and been told that it could be round ligament pain. I thought this also, but it isn't a sharp pain, more of a 'burning' pain that lasts for a couple of minutes when I let my body relax (say at night if i get up for a wee!) Im 23 weeks

Can someone please give me a few ideas on how to bring on a labour. I have 3 weeks left in my 2nd pregany & I cant s=take it any more. Ive been in & out of hospital for the last month with every doctor telling me different things. I havent eaten in almost 5 weeks & I cant hold down any fuild & am in consent pain. My friend told me that he had intercourse with a female friend around new years in which he used protection and that a week later she told him her stomach hurt. And that she would make an appointment and she recently just went and confirmed that she was 22 weeks pregnant and that he should take a blood test (joking to him).

Then he told me that she confessed prior to having sex with him she had sex months before with her baby father.

Now my friend do not understand how she could be pregnant and not now for that long and not even tell him. Because he wouldn't have had sex with her if he knew. Now he is confused and want to make sure its not his.

I am 17 weeks PG with my first baby. Yippee! I felt the first flutters when I was 14w 6d, and felt them about 3 or 4 times during that week. I am now 17 weeks and haven't felt the baby move in over a week. This is my first PG, so I dont' really know what to expect, but I thought that once I started feeling the flutters, they wouldn't stop. It's making me nervous, but I'm trying to convince myself that it's just because the baby isn't in the right position for me to feel him/her move anymore. Has anybody else experienced this? I have a dr. appt on Tuesday, so I'll find out for sure if everything's OK, but I just wanted to get some opinions from other moms.

i'm recently was just put on avril birth control..anyone have anything to say about this? and i was told the other day that im supposed to take the white reminder pills when im on my period but....my doctor told me to start with week one which is the rose pills and i would be bleeding when im taking those. so how is this ever going to even out to where id be taking the white pills when im ON my period?

i woke up monday morning bleeding. it is a darkish brown and not really enough to wear a pad or anything. i called the doctor and they didnt seem to concerned. but i have never bled before when pregnant. this is my third. how long can you bleed before you normally have a miscarriage? does it usually immediately follow if you are going to have one. is my mild bleeding ok, or do i need to still worry that a miscarriage could follow? i am almost 10weeks pregnant.

i had PCOS ( poly-cystic ovariy syndrome) . i heard that when we beome pregantn the cysts start to disappear gradually and that pregnancy is the best naturla way to remove cysts. i became pregannt and now i have a 4 month baby boy. I worry about alot of things with baby (am 28 wks pregnant) - will baby be healthy? Will i cope when baby is born? Will i make a good mother?

One of my more superficial thoughts (i know - its sounds horrible... i deserve it if i'm judges harshly) - will my baby be a cute baby? I don't know what put this thought into my head or why it even is a thought in my head but.. i don't want baby to be ugly. I want my baby to be absolutely gorgeous ... am i the only one to have such a stupid thought? Does thinking it make me a bad mother-to-be?

I am a very nervous, newly pregnant woman. I started getting sick at week five, was sick weeks 6-7, and I am starting to feel better now that I have hit eight weeks. Is this too early? I still have an acidic stomach, but no more vomiting, and I am worried that the decrease in nausea means there might be a problem.
