She does not enjoy sex and someone told me that the pill can make women not want sex at all. She likes being on the pill for the predictability. What medical reason can I tell her to get off the pilI? I am willing to have a vasectomy.

The pill poses a huge risk of blood clots to women that are 35 years of age or older! Maybe your wife would consider a non hormonal form of birth control? She could look into getting an IUD put in there. I am actually shocked that her Dr. will prescribe the pill to her. There are so many new studies out that the Dr. should be aware of, and your wife as well!

well, if you are willing to have a vasectomy, tell it to her. she can safely stop taking pills about 3 months after your vasectomy just to ensure she will not get pregnant. at that time, you will not be releasing any sperm anymore. Now, if she doesn't like to stop taking the pills, ask her why, if she has other reasons for taking the pill aside from preventing conception, you must know it. Yes, pills do have some effects on libido, but it is only minimal. the best way to let her enjoy it is a long and satisfying foreplay. experiment on different positions and other techniques of lovemaking, explore and don't be imprisoned by a monotonous kind of coitus. try spending some time alone, away from the kids and rediscover the pleasures of love.

Well if you are willing to have a vasectomy you should go for it, but you must be sure that you both don't want any more children first. I have never heard that the pill can make women not want sex before, so I don't think that is the reason.

Sorry, but she's better off on the pill. It makes periods shorter, less painful, more predictable and will help regulate her hormones when she goes into menopause.

The pill DOES reduce sex drive. Have her talk to her doctor about getting on a lower-hormone pill; there are some that supposedly don't affect libido.

And finally, has it occured to you that your wife might want more kids? Maybe that's why she's not so keen on your vasectomy idea.

this would sound harsh, yet: sit your little warm in the back of down, woman, and have a tendency on your children! of direction, you've made some undesirable options (that you proceed making) and also you're way too stuck up in seems and popularity than what really concerns: reliability, honesty and integrity. very last time I checked, having JET black hair hasn't ever paid any charges and having hazel eyes not in any respect raised a baby. you want to finish somewhat soul searching and locate out what that is about you that makes you cost popularity over substance and also why you presently have 3 children by technique of three diverse adult males. really, you do not imagine that is okay. there is not any longer some thing attractive or admirable about this difficulty. Time to start up behaving like an man or woman. not in any respect too overdue. playstation - ignore the birth control. you want to be neutered.

If you are willing to have a vasectomy, talk to her about it, and just get it done. It's not great being on the pill.

I say, get a vasectomy and if she stops the pill and it doesn't work, maybe seek a doctor.

She can get an IUD. No side effects or hormones and last for 10 years.
The pill was a turn off for me too.
