hi i am pregnant but very early on only about 6-7 weeks, we are thinking of having a 3d or 4d scan later on in pregnancy, to find out the sex of my baby when would be the best time to see on a scan?

hiya i had a 4d scan at 31wks it was amazing, seeing my son like that was the most unreal feeling i have ever had, i just wanted to grab hold of him and give him a cuddle!!
i also used the baby bond clinic, once for a gender scan at 17wks then once for the 4d scan amazing lovely ppl they really make it special for you

I had a 4d scan. If you just wanna sex the baby it can be done from 16 weeks but if you want photos of the face you will be around 26-28 weeks for nthe best photos before your baby gets too big. If you are going for the face photos make sure you eat and drink something really sugary about 1/2 hour before your appt. and do some jigging around. You will want the baby to be awake when you see him/her.Congrats and Good luck with the pregnancy and I hope you get the flavour you want. xx
BTW, if you are in the uk you will pay about £60 for just sexing your baby and between £100-£200 for full photos and dvd depending on the package you want. Googel 4d scans in your area to find the best price x

Hi, I had my 4d scan at 25 1/2 weeks and found out that my baby was VERY CLEARLY a boy loli think its any time between 24 - 30 weeks for the best results

Prices vary with location and the package you want. Baby bond have a few centres and seem to be reasonably priced. You can google that and it brings up their site. The package I am going for is about £140 I think. They also do early gender scans for £40. I have heard that the best time to get a 4D scan is between weeks 22-32, so I am going for mine in early January. I first felt baby move when I was 18 weeks and I am overweight. It felt like like little flutters, like a hummingbird was in my lower belly. Now the kicks are stronger. Most people feel them around week 20-22 but everyone is different. It depends on your weight and where the placenta has attached itself. I think it is the most amazing feeling ever! Congrats on your pregnancy!

hi i am 4 months pregnant and have been told to go for my 4d scan between 24 and 32 weeks i would personally go in between to save disappointment.

my wife had a 4d with this baby and it was amazing I would recommend them to anyone. if your wanting to have a 4d scan to find out the sex of your baby then I would suggest that you wait until your 20wks pregnant. I have got a website for you which may be of use to you,

About 25 to 28 weeks is ideal. I waited until I was like 32 and it was hard to see b/c there wasn't alot of amniotic fluid. They recommended that time frame for my next pregnancy. They are wonderful! It is so cool to see exactly how your baby is going to look!!

i had my 4d scan at 28 weeks and it was brilliant and they told and shown me the sex

I think they say 30 weeks is ideal. After that, they might look more human, but they get all squished up in the uterus, and their faces look deformed.
