I am working and my job requires me to ride a bicycle. I feel aches and pains around my tummy and back. Any suggestion?

i personally wouldn't risk it. you should talk with you doctor about this. some doctors say that you shouldn't do things that you didn't do before you became pregnant. especially working out body parts and muscles that you hadn't before. even if you had you are suppose to take it a lot slower and easier, but since you're having pains i would stop because the first trimester is the most sensitive

Yes, it' safe. I've seen a 9 month pregnant woman riding a bike. Granted, at that stage, one must be very careful

I'm not a doctor, but they always told me to wait for the 4th month to be sure it won't hurt. I guess you should ask your doctor, and in the meanwhile be careful and ride slowly.

Its not the riding of the bicicle that can cause the problem - its the falling....

yes....but that is probably your round ligamant stretching.
I wouldn't do it myself, but I don't think it is harmful. I would worry about cars on the road while you are on the bike.
