i had one set of twins vaginally and plan on this set vaginally also. i would not have a csection unless its a matter of life and death.
my first twins birth even had 12 hours between babies.

50 % of twin pregnancies end up in c-section. In general, whether you have a c section or not usually depends on the position of your babies. If they are both head down, you're probably going to have a vaginal birth. If you have one that is head down and one that is not, you can still try for vaginal birth in hopes that the 2nd baby will turn head down.

If both babies are not head down, you'll probably going to have a c-section without a question.

I am pregnant with twins also (2nd pregnancy - my first was a c section) and my doctor has already told me that he has no problem letting me have a vaginal birth if and only if both babies are head down. Otherwise, he said he really wants me to have a c section again.

Vaginal birth with twins is safe and doable like the woman who posted above said. here are some websites with information about c-section and it's risks and benefits

A good article on twin birth with links for additional information:

In my opinion the risks of cesarean outweigh the risks of vaginal twin birth- but of course, you need to make the decision for yourself.
In life or death situations cesarean birth is great- but why add the additional risks of cesarean to you and your babies if it's not necessary?
