Each pregnancy is different. And this one your circulation could be less causing muscle aches.
I would suggest you move around in the morning with stretching exercises.
Nothing to hard. Just while sitting in your computer chair put your arms straight up above your head and then pull your hands together. Do this 10 times.
Roll your shoulders backwards then forwards 10 times.
Then roll away from the desk and lift your legs one at a time 5 times..while your leg is stretched circle your foot rotating your ankles.
Squeeze your butt cheeks holding for 5 seconds..10 times.
You can also do this on the couch.

While laying in bed you can lay and tighten each fist then release
then tighten your arm then release
curl your toes then release then your legs
Then you buttocks release
Your face can be relaxed to... you can tighten your face muscles and release as well. squeeze your lips together then release.

Walking in the am will help. Most that have circulation problems say it helps release some of the water retention they got from the night before.

Of course a good candle lit bath can relax you at night.

Hang in there, soon you will be holding that bundle of joy.

First off, congrats!

I recently had a baby boy 6 months ago.. also my 2nd. I was also sore with him if I stayed in one place too long. I was especially sore around my cervix if I sat down for too long.. it felt like the baby would literally fall out! This was definitely different from my first pregnancy.

My doctor told me that with each pregnancy, the cervix gets weaker/thinner but this doesn't mean any danger, it's just normal. My doctor advised to take frequent short walks (something I never did, lol) or find a reason to get up and walk around a little bit. That will lessen the soreness somewhat. Just take nice comfy baths (not too hot!), ask hubby/boyfriend to give massages (you deserve it!!!!) and just relax!

I remember more achiness with my second, too. I think the hips spread a bit more... or more easily. I'd make sure you're getting plenty of water, walking/exercising regularly as directed by your doctor... and taking time to relax. Hard to do with a child in the house, I know... Hey... THAT'S the difference this time around!!

Oh... and my son is in Iraq... I'm sending good thoughts your way.

Do you mean you have muscle aches? Mention it to your doctor next time. Any other symptoms?
