an ectopic pregnancy , had a tube removed and still was able to get pregnant without any complications? Also did it take a long time for you to become pregnant? I had a ectopic pregnancy had one of my tubes removed. I am a 30 year old mother of 3 .

I've taken two pregnancy tests. Both negative. But I have not had my period since November. And I know that there is still a possibility that I can be pregnant. I dont have enough hCG in my urine. And I know that some people don't get a positive result until they're like halfway through! I don't have a doctor right now, so it's not some easy thing for me to just go in and get a test done. I have to get myself a doc first. (I live over an hour away from any free clinic that I can go to for a free test) Anyway, Im a little overweight, and I was wondering how long it would take for me to notice that my belly is getting bigger... This would be my first baby.

I am gona take 8 weeks maternity leave maybe 10 weeks if I pay off some bills first. I get bored very easily, not that I'd be bored with my new baby just from being at home for so long. What did you do besides caring for baby to make the time off enjoyable and without going stir crazy or developing cabin fever?? Also, do you wish you'd taken more or less time off now that you are thinking back?

I'm currently 22 weeks pregnant, and since my parents both have ailing health, my fiancee and I live with them to better provide care. Things were fine and we were all one happy family until my dad (who's in his 60's and started smoking when he was 14) refused to ease back on his smoking. Sometimes he'll start smoking even though I'm in the room! I usually end up holding my breath and rushing back to my room where I sit near the window to catch some fresh air. I've tried talking to him about it, but he claims that he's "old" and should be allowed to live his life happily. This is his first grandchild and I don't understand why he has such a nonchalant attitude about such a serious matter. Since it's winter (and currently ten below!) I can't always rush outside to escape. Once again, we can't move out since we are providing care for him and my mother, and we don't have enough financial stability to put them in any assisted living facility (they don't need that much care anyways). Help!

I got my period on Jan 7, 2006 and had unprotected sex on the 18,and 19th of jan which was the 11th and 12th day after my period.. I know I ovulated on the 20th so even though I didn't have sex on the 20th do I still have a higher chance of getting pregnant being that it was so close to the day I ovulated.. I know it's to EARLY to take a pregnancy test just yet.. I just want to know if there is a good chance because we really WANT another baby =)

I asked my obgyn how many other blood tests i have to take before the delivery and he told me that they have to check for the gestational diabetes only...
Are these the only tests that they run in pregnancy?

I just recently found out that one of my friends is pregnant and due to have the baby in May. I can tell that both she and her boyfriend are scared. I'm just as scared for them. What can I do to help them out?

last year i had a miscarrige they said that i didnt have a baby inside when they did an ultrasound. i was so desperate to get pregnate again. so after one year i found out that i am pregnate the problem is when they did an ultasound they didint see anything again. the doctor said that maybe the babys too small or that i dont have anything again, i cant go through what i went through again. im so worried. does anyone have any advise.?

Hey guys, my husband and I are trying for our second child, and I am wondering what are some GREAT ways to tell him, and then my family that Im pregnant. My hubby's in the USCG, and Im far, far away from my family, so I will need to do something extra special for them so that they feel included. What did you do to tell your hubby, family or friends? Have you heard about other women doing something spectacular to share the news? We're a couple with a great sense of humor, so funny things won't offend me!! Ok i am currently 38 weeks pregnant.. i was wandering if anyone could tell me ways of finding out if i have a tear in the bag of water.... i went to the doctors yesterday and she did an examine on me, ever since i left the doctors office i was all cramped up.. normally i get pretty crampy so i didnt really think much of it, even though it really didnt let up for almost an hour after i got home... well late last night i was getting ready for bed and i noticed that my undys were soaked... i know that at this far along the baby pushes on the bladder and sometimes it leaks out but it has never been this bad... well i still wasnt to worryed because i had expierenced it a little bit before, so i changed my underwear and 15 mins later when i went to the bathroom again my new clean undys were had a big wet spot on it, it was mostly to the front but there was still an ok amount towards the middle... now is this the baby pushing on my bladder or a leak in the water?
