I've taken two pregnancy tests. Both negative. But I have not had my period since November. And I know that there is still a possibility that I can be pregnant. I dont have enough hCG in my urine. And I know that some people don't get a positive result until they're like halfway through! I don't have a doctor right now, so it's not some easy thing for me to just go in and get a test done. I have to get myself a doc first. (I live over an hour away from any free clinic that I can go to for a free test) Anyway, Im a little overweight, and I was wondering how long it would take for me to notice that my belly is getting bigger... This would be my first baby.

I'm not on BC, just stopped a couple months ago because i didnt have insurance... I am irregular, but I've only gone 3 months without having ANY sign of a peroid ONE time, and that was BEFORE I was on BC and having sex.

You may not show at all. You'll notice you are biggr bu others will think you got fatter. thats how it was for my little sister. shes jealous of my huge belly. she said it makes her sad that she would never look pregnant but just fat. the only thing i can tell you is go to the free clinic and get the test. becuz you arerisking alot not going to the dr there are alot of tests they do in the first trimester.

I didn't know I was pregnant until I was three months along!! I took over the counter tests (all negative) and even a urine test in the doctor's office--negative!! The only way I found out for sure was a blood test. I don't know if this makes a difference but the over the counter tests I took were the cheaper kind--maybe try getting the most expensive one they have in the drugstore and then do the test right when you get up in the morning--that may help give you the result you need. Until you get to see a doctor I would take good care of yourself as if you were pregnant (and you just may be!!) Good luck!!

Hi. I would try and take a pregnancy test first thing in the morning when you get up. That will give the test the urine with the most HCG and the test is known to work better that way. I think you do need to think about finding a doctor soon regardless.

I started showing at about 8 weeks with my first son, so everyone shows differently with their pregnancies.
Good Luck!

Pregnancy tests, despite how early they "say" they are effective, are not as effective as they could be until AFTER you expect your period. I took a confirm clearly digital test and got a positive result 10 days after we had sex. I thought this was way early, but went into the dr. to get a blood test anyway, which was negative. I was still feeling goofy though, and bought some first response. 22 days later (peeing on a stick every 3-4 days) I got my "real" positive result, got another blood test, and it was positive too. So I got the result a week after my period should have come. That's just the best time to test, because the hormone levels could be too low to detect. False negatives are more common than false positives.

You may have a medical coondition causing you to miss your peroid..ovarian cysts...etc. After at least a few weeks late you should have enough HcG in your urine. I work for a GYN and women miss there periods quite often besides being pregnant

if you haven't already, try http://www.pregnancycenters.org . You can find free pregnancy centers in your area. if you still don't find one closer than an hour drive, then I'd recommend making the drive. They can also put you in touch with free medical help if you are pregnant, so you don't have to worry about finding a doctor you can afford.

Make the road trip. I had an aunt who was over weight and never knew she was pregnant until contractions kicked in since being overweight sometimes causes inconsistent periods she never gave it a second thought.

i've got had this account in view that October 31, 2008. Lol Halloween. besides I had an account in the past this that have been given suspended. I wasn't interior the lgbt section lots then. i think of I had my first account around June of 2008... so i assume i've got been right here some year. kind of latest, new to you besides. I omit most of the those that have been right here as quickly as I first got here to this web site. :( The 'turn-over value' sucks. you at the instant are not right here as much as you was.

I say make the trip and get the test. It could still be the birth control in your system if it was pills or the shot, but, you should get the test anyway.
