Pregnancy - January 2007

I'm 6 weeks pregnant and I'm constipated. I have heard that this is normal, however does anyone know of anything that can make it better? Serious answer only please.

I am 22. Independent and smart. I have my own place, i work full time, and am 10 weeks pregnant. I am a white female, and the babys father is black. Me and him are "together" but more friends than anything else. He seems to be very excited, and well im kind of excited myself.
But the real question is my family is very upset with the fact that he is black, that we have no intensions of getting married, and that i am having the baby at all. Should I let them impact my decision to keep the baby or not? Im kind of hoping they will come around sooner or later, right now at this time, they have said they disown me.

My g/f had a miscarriage 2 1/2 weeks ago at 12 weeks along. I have never gotten a women pregnant before and I was excited to become a dad. I was more attracted to her than ever and I looked at her as the most beautiful person in the world. When we first lost the baby I was in shock, then denial, and now she has stopped bleeding and is going to have her period again, so it is true. I want her to be pregnant again so bad, everywhere I look someone is pregnant and I see newborn children everywhere. Unfortunetly our relationship is not going forward at this time due to a mistake I made before she got pregnant. Everyday gets harder and harder, I just want her to be pregnant again and I want to have a chance to raise a family together. I love her more than anything and I just don't know where to go from here. What can I do to get over this. We still talk everyday and she came down to see me the other day. Do I just tell her I want her back and i want to try to have another baby?

hey, my friend (the guy) got his 14 year old girlfriend pregnant. Im worried about the guy, He has been with her for ALONBG time, he loves her and would do anything for her. They plan on gettn married when shes 16 in nevada. What should he do untill than..he lives in california. Thanks alot guys.

ok, well, yesterday at my doctor's appointment, she told me i was 4 cm dialated, and that i could go into labor sometime this weekend. well, i lost my mucos plug this morning and have been having severe backpain, cramping, and contractions. this is my 1st baby and don't really know what labor feels like. im 38 wks and 6 days. i dont know what signs to be looking for, for labor to start, i just want to have the baby, and get it over with.

my cervix was checked two days ago and I was 3 cm dilated and 70 % effaced. that night I had a little bit of spotting. today I've been oozing a lot of white/clear discharge. Is that normal for after an exam or could it be a sign of early labor? My contractions haven't been strong but if I was 3 cm dilated two days ago, would I still be dilating pretty fast, or am i just oozing from being open?

I know it's very uncommon but I just wondered; my husband and I have pretty much resigned ourselves to the assumption that I've had a miscarriage, but for some reason, I still feel that I might possibly be pregnant. I'm still having bouts of queasiness and extra fatigue; the thing is, I bled heavily about three weeks ago, at the time I thought I was having the miscarriage; I stopped for about a week, but I've started again and have just assumed that it's my period this time, but for whatever reason; call it women's intuition, I feel I might be pregnant still. I could be wrong and that's ok, but I thought I'd ask if this phenomenon has occurred with anyone else. Thx. :)

take a pregnancy test yet? I have been having pregnancy symptoms for the past 3 weeks or so and I took a test about 2 1/2 weeks ago and it came back negative. It is now 2 days past my period. I am never late and I am never early. I always have it on time. I bled a little 4 days before I was due for my period, the second time I went to the bathroom that day it was very light pink and very dischargy. I am not really worrying about it, but just today I started getting concerned. Should I take another one or does anyone know what's going on?
