I'm not too worried about if I am, since now after a few weeks, and the possibility, that I may, that we do want a child. We are doing well as far as money and everything.

It is possible but not that likely.

If you are using withdrawal as a method of birth control you need to be aware of the rules, which generally they don't teach in sex ed. Withdrawal is 80-90% effective when you follow the rules (which is the same as many methods of birth control such as diaphrams)

How well does it work in preventing pregnancy? IF

before penetration a man who has recently ejaculated urinates to get rid of any left over sperm.

the tip of the penis is wiped dry of lubricating fluid before penetration

the penis IS withdrawn BEFORE ejaculation

ejaculation occurs outside the vagina and well away from the vaginal opening

THEN
withdrawal has an approximately 80-90% effectiveness rate, or better.
BUT
control is difficult. This last minute method is risky. It offers NO protection from sexually transmitted infections, including HIV; even the pre-ejaculate fluid can contain infection along with sperm

The number of times a couple has sex doesn't determine whether a pregnancy happens, but the timing. If she was ovulating during one of the times they had intercourse, she might have become pregnant. If he is stressed about it, that is normal and understandable. He needs to act decisively, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, go to his sex partner, and go to a trusted doctor, or preferably a Planned Parenthood clinic, and get a pregnancy test. Then, they should both get screened for any STD's. Until you have the facts, you can't put your feelings in perspective, and this could be a lot of fireworks over nothing. Once a pregnancy (or no pregnancy) has been established, they need to sit down That being said, your friend needs to go on the internet, do a search for "safer sex", and "birth control", and start using condoms. All the time, every time, until he reaches a level of trust and maturity where he can go to a doctor with any future girlfriends and get expert advice about more comprehensive birth control.

Surely there is a possibility, especially since you were using the withdrawal method - a little bit of sperm could have already leaked out before withdrawing.
And on your genitals? I would say if you wash very well, you are fine!

The question you're not asking is: can pre-ejaculate get me pregnant. That's a definite YES, and if he's only pulling out to blow it on you at the last minute that means he's been coming inside you for some time at that point (just not as obviously). Didn't you ever pay attention in school?

The chances of it are small, but they are there...I would not worry so much about the stuff on the out side...however males will produce kind of a pre-semen....it it made to clean out the tubes for the real stuff and privide lube....and sometime it can contain sperm....when most of this is inside you.....that is where most people who use the "pullout",ethod get prego.

Pretty likely. If a guy ejeculates there are millions and millions of sperms floating along and it only takes one to fertilize an egg. There may be seamen in places you can't even seen so it could be fairly likely. Trust me, I'm suffering through health class right now.

It is possible but rare because seman doesnt live but a few seconds outside the human body. If it lands on your vagina it is very possible.

Yes there is a chance that it could happen, but unlikely. If you are not trying to get pregnant then he should ejaculate in the condom EVERY TIME.
Good luck.
