it can cause brain damage, birth defects, pre-mature birth, and alot more.

Only statistic I know is that if a mother smokes thru her entire pregnancy, it will cost the infant ONE POUND of body weight. Maybe not a big issue unless you have a premature birth.
As far as all the other chemicals, toxins and drugs you are exposing the kid to, smoking during pregnancy should be consider child abuse.

Ok um if you read your research than you should know way better than to ask a question like this!!!! Smoking can do a hell of a lot to a baby than just affecting the size! seriously you need to get a fricking clue!!!!!

the baby would be at risk for birth defects and premature labor and low birth weight think about your baby's health the next time you decide to light one up

Please think about your baby before yourself. Any time you smoke during your pregnancy, of course it could affect your baby, in many ways.
