Pregnancy - January 2007

in the last couple of days my breasts keep getting more and more sore, and swollen, I got my period 2 weeks ago, so i wont be getting it for another 2+ weeks, Last night i was having some lower back pains/ cramps like when i have my period. Could this mean i am pregnant considering this is unusual until about a week before i get my period, or could it be something else?

Please help!

I last had my period on 12/21/06. And just today I had very light bleeding.it's not red kind of a brownish color. I have no cramping or anything like that. I'm very tired all the time , I just also noticed that I have broken out with these small red bumps on my chest and back. could I be pregnant? or is it too soon to tell?

Hey, my period has always been the same, real heavy and lasting for 7-10 days. However this month i was 8days late and my period was heavy for 2days and then suddenly stopped, almost in just under an hour, then i was spottin for 3days. Im not stressed and i have not gained/lost weight etc, nuffin has changed to effect my period. I was just wondering what culd be up.

i am havin unprotective sex with my finace as we are trying for a baby but he is infertile and only has 4% chance so im pretty sure im not pregnant.

im 18 weeks pregnant and ever since i found out i havent wanted to have sex. I know that there isnt anything to worry about and that it cant do any damage but i cant help but think of the baby! Has anyone else had this or am i just being daft? Its really starting to bother me now as its not really fair on my partner.

There is this guy at my school, and we're both Seniors. I can't tell if he likes me but some say they think he does. He's always joking with me and winks at me and stuff and everyday he always asks me the same question if i'm going to the dance in April. I have no clue if he likes me but we always joke around and look at each other the same and stuff. I like him but I'm shy to tell him so I'm just mean to him LOL cause I dont want him to know that I like him but anyways. Do you think he likes me? I'm pregnant w/ my first child (third trimester). I plan on breastfeeding and know there are nursing bras and gowns but am totally clueless as to what kind, size etc. to pick out. For the nursing bra, do I just pick my regular bra size - I'm still wearing my regular bras comfortably. And as for the nursing gown, which kind would be appropriate to take to the hospital? Or will the hospital be providing me with a nursing gown while I'm there? I searched at walmart.com and found a maternity nursing gown by Bestform for $11.96. Is this ok to take w/ me to the hospital on the day of delivery or what kind did you all use? They also have some nursing bras, Playtex Expectant Moments nursing bra for $23.50 and they also have a Bestform sports nursing bra for only $11.71. Links for 2 of these items below.

A year and almost a half I have been with my 25 year old boyfriend. We have an almost live in situation with the date of March1st to make that next step official. However, just yesterday I took a pregnancy test after about a week of odd behavior from dizziness, sleeping a lot, not eating the foods I would normally eat, to eating only dairy products. I sat down with my boyfriend and told him about the issue. He was calm, until I told him that I sat on the middle of fence with either keeping this child, or having an abortion. In the past we had talked about getting an abortion as I believe most us do not think while being responsible that you are going to go through this. He proceeded to tell me not to tell his family about this situation. I wasn't fine about being told this, as it tells me the obcious, but later in the evening he was angry, emotional, yelling...telling me he doesn't trust me. He was concerned for his life only and stated over he wanted a family in like 5 years.

Okay, I know that I wrote about the baby that I'm pregnant with now. But I would also like some advise on moving on from my first pregnancy. See, I had my daughter on Christmas of 2005 at 8:26am. (Some present to open huh?) But she passed away from SIDS on February 2 2006. This is why I wasnt looking to forward to getting pregnant too soon. Im estatic about this new baby and can't wait to start loving him/her, but I don't want to make the mistake of forgetting my daughter with this 'replacement'. As silly and cruel as that may sound I don't mean it in any way what so ever. Im also worried about doing anything that would trigger what happened to Serenity(my daughter) to this new baby since the exact cause of SIDS is unclear. This is driving me insane and I find myself no able to enjoy the simple pleasures of pregnacy. Can anyone offer advise BESIDES counseling? Im sorry but that doesn't help me at all, only irritates.Thanks to anyone who responds

I've been breastfeeding my newborn who's 5wks. And when my milk first came in my breasts were a lot bigger and fuller feeling. Now they don't seem to get engored near as fast and they don't feel as big as in the beggining. Is that normal to have happen once breastfeeding has been established? I still feel the let down sensation, and he seems to be getting enough (poopy diapers, lots of peeing, and not fussing once he's eaten). Can your milk supply just drop for no reason? I eat enough, drink enough, and he nurses like every 1-3 hrs during the day just depending. He only nurses for about 10 minutes at a time on one side though, is that OK? I also don't need to pump like I did to begin with, can someone please help with this question! First baby too!!!!!!

I started my "period" on Tuesday evening. Mostly spotting of brown/pink blood. I went to class that night and I spent the entire night cramping and having lower back pain. I was still mainly spotting. When I woke up in the morning, I still wasn't bleeding much but an hour or so later I was gushing bright red blood. I spent the day with more cramps and lower back pain. The bleeding slowed down in the evening and I barely bleed at night. Yesterday my bleeding was still slow, but I was passing more clots and cramping/back pain again. No bleeding at all over night. So far today, I am only bleeding when I wipe. Nothing is making it to my pad. I've never experienced anything like this before.

I also had a tubal ligation done in 2003 after my twins were born. So it shouldn't be a period, but nothing is really impossible. (I do know that my age & having it done right after a c-section increases risk of failure. How nice to find out afterwards.) Has this happened to anyone else?

I have already had a baby in December of 2005, and after her birth I was taking depo provera. It keep my periods lasting throughtout the year until I got sick of it in September when I tried the patch. It made me nauseated so I stopped taking that. Not knowing what else to do I got pregnant again. But from what the doctors say, the only way they can tell how far I am is if I get an ultrasound since they can't rely on my unusual cycle. I really don't want to wait. Can anyone please give adivise on this? I made my appointment in November but the doctor insisted theat they were so "booked up" that they couldn't me until yesterday. And I do plan on getting my ultrasound but I just wanted some kind of insight on the situation. I had to delete my first similar question cause Im kinda new at this. So... work with me here okay?

I miscarried in early November of 2006. I had spotted (very little) on December 13 and 14th. I have not had my period yet for Jan. I have had one positive HPT (Clear blue digital) but all the others I have taken have been negitive. Is there still a chance I could be pregnant?

I am almost 8 weeks pregnant, I was told not to eat deli meat because it contains a bacteria that causes miscarriages and etc while your pregnant.....what's considered deli meat?? Deli meat is pretty broad, so would that mean smoked turkey from the deli dept. be harmful?? I know hotdogs are bad unless you heat them to a certain degree. thanks for the comments....oh and is bacon okay??

My friend is doing a stupid stupid thing. She is not legal in the USA, and now she wants to get pregnant with her current bf to stay here she's wont get married either she told me before she is not ready for it yet. I know she loves kids and she is on the pill but she wants to stop taking it, I also know that her bf love her and wont mind having a kid, but is it the right think to do not by telling him.
I have no clue what to tell her any advise so i can change her mind.

ok here is my question. when a woman has a miscarriage, does she always fill up a pad, and have clumps?

if she doesn't fill up the pad, and the blood is bright red, with a few small clumps, does this mean her body is just getting rid of waste?
