Some woman have PMS symptoms around the time their period would normally come. As long as it's not unbearable pain or your not bleeding, there shouldn't be anything to worry about. Call your OB/GYN to see what pain medication you can take, if you want.

Cramping in early pregnancy is normal as long as it feels like period cramping. If your cramping becomes severely painful or is accomianied by blood, you should go to the ER. I had cramping worse than my regular period in both pregnancies; #1 is now 4 years old, and #2 is still in the belly (22 weeks)!

Sounds completely normal but if it gets really bad AND there is bleeding go to the doctor. Little crampy feelings are fine and harmless. Of course it is going to be a little uncomfortable, you have something growing at an unbelievable rate inside you.
FYI ~~ the placenta doesn't float, neither is it fixed in one place, it is teathered by ligaments that stretch as the baby grows. Think of them as stretchmarks on the inside, they just come with pregnancy!!

It is pretty common to have cramping like that. It is probably just your inside stretching and getting ready for baby. I however would still contact your Dr. and have him/her check and make sure that nothing is wrong. Congrats and Good Luck.

It is normal.
and about 20% of all pregnancys end in miscarrage, not most first time pregnancys. A woman has the same chance of miscarrage with any pregnancy.

Usually these are called implantation cramps and are pretty normal. If they get worse or if you are in a lot of pain, please see your doctor.
