very painful to sit and urinate, needle sensation followed with blood when I wipe only no other time

yes you definitely have a bladder infection. It's easy to get those any time, not just after having a child. I used to get them a lot. You should definitely go to a dr and get some anitbiotics. If you ever get one again, there are ways to get rid of it without going to a dr. such as taking calcium magnesium pills, drinking only water or cranberry juice. no caffeine or alcohol until the infection is gone. if you take the calcium magnesium pills, take them for a few days to ensure the infection is really gone. I swear by this, it really does work. oh yeah almost forgot, make sure you go to the bathroom after having sex, if you don't it's VERY easy to get a bladder infection.

I think you have an Urinary track infection.Call your obgyn and ask him for antibiotics!
