Does this happen to many pregnant people or just some.
Also why does this happen? does it go back to normal after?

not all pregnant women have their navel stick out when their belly gets big,only women with shallow navel,mine did not stick out coz my belly button is deep.

It didn't happen to me when I was pregnant, in fact most of the women I've known haven't had their belly buttons poking out, except my one friend who just has her baby. Her belly button was really poking out. Just like everything else that goes with pregnancy, every woman is different.

It ran out of room on the inside. Some not all. Goes back to normal afterward.

The baby takes up so much room inside that your skin stretches, and it can only go so far. So it takes all the space it can find and your belly button takes up space inside so it pushes it out. Mine looked sooo funny!

my belly button was deep but now it pokes out... well going back in since i'm close to dilevery just one of those things that come with pregnancy
