Call some of the hospitals and ask about lactation counselor's and then ask them what hospitals are best. Also all hospitals give tours to parents. You can see for your self. Make a list of what you want for labor/delivery. Such as a LDR room, can you walk while in labor or are you stuck in bed? Can you bring music? Do they have CD players or radios? Can you use a shower or bath while in labor? If you want a pain free delivery can you change your mind and get pain meds? And most important from a mom of four will the baby be able to stay with you? And if planing to breastfeed will they not feed bottles if you send baby to the nursery?

Do you already have an OB/GYN? If so, you will be limited to the hospitals that your doctor is afflilated with. OB/GYNs can only deliver in hospitals that they have priveldges with. Unless you don't care that your regular OB/GYN delivers your baby...

Or have you not seen an OB/GYN yet and will choose a doctor based on the best hospitals? If so, I suggest choosing a hospital that has a NICU. Most hospitals do equally well on delivering a baby... but not be so good in dealing with a baby that may need special accomodations.

My sister had her two in Cooper Hospital in Camden, and I recall seeing things advertised there and on TV about it being the top ranked hospital for something related to childbirth. And while I don't know anyone who has had kids there, I had a relative hospitalized for several months in University of Pennsylvania in Philly and the staff there was awesome.
