People say rude comments like "then don't open your legs"
Why degrade a person because they just don't know. That is why the general population is too embarrassed to ask anything, because of arrogant people like that. !!!!!!!!!

It's one thing to ask advice about being pregnant. I asked and had no rude answers when I suspected I might be (sadly I am not yet).

I think it's all in how the person asks. I've seen some pretty nasty questions out there that deserve the responses they get. I've seen posts were the woman says "i think i'm pregnant but i'm not all that into the guy. we did it this many times on this day and i really don't want to be, but am i?"

What else can you say to these people other than buy and HPT, Call your doctor and talk to someone about how to use BC or just keep it zipped!!

SexEd is everywhere. You hear Trojan commericals on the friggin radio. There's no excuse for irresponsibility like this anymore. Not knowing about birthcontrol is about the same as people who take up smoking and pretend they don't know its bad for you.

Because some people seem to think that no one actually plans for a pregnancy so they leave the rude comment. Who knows, maybe they weren't planned and are angry about or maybe it is just for attention. I've seen answers more than once that assummed the asker was a teenage girl who got pregnant by accident when they were in fact a married woman trying to get pregnant. This would be yet another reason for the saying "to assume is to make an a** out of u and me"

Hi hon, sounds like you tested both times too early. Testing early can certainly give you a false negative. Tomorrow at Planned Parenthood it should read the accurate result. It would be too early to feel kicking, but a symptom of pregnancy is often gas bubbles which people often mistake for a baby kicking. If you are pregnant, that little one is less than an inch long. Best of luck to you and I hope that you receive the answer you are hoping for tomorrow.

Great point. I wouldn't ever say that, I have said take sex ed and don't have sex. BUT I didn't mean it in a mean manner. I feel bad for all the youngins and all the uneducated people out there. I try to be patient with myself, because people ask the same questions thousands a times a day. I answer them as best as I can. Most people are just fed up with the questions, but it is wrong for them to say those things. I am sorry this has happened to you. Good luck.

I agree with you, people saying all these rude comments makes people scared to ask the questions they need answers on. Then by them not knowing what they need to know they can get into big trouble possible to their health. And I also agree about the spreading the legs thing, hey its already happend and nobodys perfect. I think if everybody helped everybody out the world would be a much better place. Too bad most people arn't like that.

Re. "Is it fun to laugh at lack of knowledge?"

Well -- yeah. It is. I mean, it's sad, too, but people do inadvertently laugh at funerals; it's a way of dealing with the stress, etc. I'm not saying Yahoo! Answers is a comparable tragedy -- but some of the stupidity here is sort of tragic.

And funny.

I agree, I had just left a comment about how rude people are, on the page where someone had told her keep her legs closed. This site should be about people helping other people and a place to get info and a place for people who have been through things to help someone that is currently going through the same situation. Like I said in the comment if those rude people don't like the questions...DO NOT READ THEM!

Because many people on here deserve that response, when they openly admit that they used no protection, let the guy finish inside of them or is under the age of 16 and shouldnt be having sex in the first place

I believe, it is until they have similar situation. If it was their teemage girl asking what to to, they would sound totally different. And second, it is so because it deals with morality and morality is always complicated 'cause it's personal.
