My friend called me at around 5 in the morning, crying. She was telling me that she was scared of coming out pregnant. Being under ecstasy... She didnt really bother to think of protection, just the urge of pleasure. Now she said that.. She took a whole pill, had sex and then took half of another pill.
It just made me wonder... Contraceptive pills prevents unwanted pregnancy. Now I know that when you're pregnant if can affect the baby, any drugs can..... but she isnt pregnant. Can ecstasy, just ecstasy itself... In her condition... Can she still come out pregnant?

YES, absolutely, just because the drug hinders your mind, it does not mean that it effects your ability to reproduce, that is exactly how my 17 yr old cousin got pregnant

Even the most widely and most meddically accepted contraceptives are NOT 100% foolproof, so why should drugs not intended to prevent pregnancy do any better? ANyone that has concieved while on the pill or used a condom(that had a leak) just one tiny pin hole, remember how super small sperm are, can tell you if you don't want to get pregnant either DON"T have sex PERIOD orat least use some sort of protection to decrease the chances of unwanted children!!

Yes she could.
Just because she is on drugs, it doesn't keep one from becoming pregnant.
It could cause birth defects or cause damage to the fetus.
I would really recommend that she go and see a doctor to get checked for STDs and all the other ugly stuff. Also to see of she could be pregnant.
I think that it would be better to be safe than sorry.

Yes, she could possibly be pregnant. She should probably see a doctor for the "morning after" pill.

you can get pregnant even if you are on a birth control pill, so yes you can.
