Pregnancy - January 2007

i have had every symptom in the book except spotting and breast soreness or tenderness..is that normal?...did ne1 else not get those symptoms?

okay my sister is 15 me and her have the same dad but not the same mom. me and my sister and my brother all got taken out of our dads life for 11 years about a year ago we started talking to him again.so when we got back into his life we stared talking to his side of the family again too. okay my dad was adopted into his family when he was a baby so none of his family is our blood what so ever. so my sister slept with one of our none blood cousin from my dads side of the family and got pregnant. she says she wants to keep the baby but im not so sure nobody im my family belives in abortions should she keep it. my sister says it is okay since they are not blood. but then she tells me god does everything for a reason. so what do yall think

Anyone ever tried those Vitamin water???? Do you know if drinking those are safe for pregnancy? I know it's vitamins and it should be safe but just a thought. I know too much Vitamin A is bad for the baby that's why.

My husband just annonced that he wants our 4 1/2 year old son to be there for the birth of his sibling and to help cut the cord. I'm not so sure of this idea. Our son is quite interested in all of this baby stuff, but he has a short attention span and tends to get into trouble if bored. He is also quite empathetic and when he sees me in pain, he gets upset.

If we do this, then I think my mother will also have to be there to take care of him so that my husband can be there for me.

It is a hospital birth, so I will still have to clear it with my dr and the hospital.

What does everyone think???

My husband and I have been pregnant for 3 months now and my breasts haven't really changed at all. I figured that I would start filling up soon but haven't yet... has anyone else had this issue? And if you have did you eventually fill up?

i took 2tbsp of castor oil arould 9:30am and i dont fill anything yet. I got in a warm bath and even walked arould the house. im 39weeks How long will it take before i fill like im going into labor if i go in labor at all?

My husband and I are not ttc, but we're not being very cautious, either. I always start my period every 28 days to the tee. This month, I started 5 days early. It started out like it might be implantation, but the next two days seemed to be a normal period. Since day 2, I've had extreme nausea. I even called in sick, which is not like me. Do you think this could be early pregnancy symptoms, or do you think my cycle changed and I caught the flu bug? Has anyone ever had a situation like this and have it result in pregnancy?

I was just pondering the idea today of maybe having my 2 year old daughter in the room when I deliver.Is this not a good idea? Has anybody done this? Is it even allowed?Of course I wouldn't even think about this if I didnt think she could handle it. I just would like the idea of her being there to share this time with us.What do you think? Is she too young?

I was wondering because it happened to me and my husband. We have only been married a little over a month and i just found out that i'm 6 weeks pregnant. We got married December 9th 2006 and I was wondering what some of your stories are and how your family took the news. well my last period was Aug 1-3 i took h.p.t all neg went to the doc the have me a urine test it was neg but then she gave me prenatals so when i went back to the doc i asked why the last doc gave me pregnantals when she said i was not pregnant. his answer was when a woman is pregnant and she does not take those pills the baby takes all that it needs from the mother. and again i said but the last doc i saw said i was not pregnant he said well even when your breast feeding we like you to take those. I told him my son is 15 months old i have not breast feed since he was 3 months. and thats all he said!!! now my first doc visit i did get a cervical ultrasound but they farthest up they went was my c-section scare no higher. so i know they could not see all my uterus from there. oh and last night i started getting an odd pain in my belly and then today i was walking around and had lots of blood run down my legs ... The blood was red and had lots of big blood clots in it...

i used to get morning sickness real bad, i couldnt even get outta bed. it was just extreme nausea though, no actual vomit. i had tried EVERYTHING under the sun and moon!!! finally i had to downgrade from prenatals to flintstone vitamins. i felt like A MILLION BUCKS for like a day and a half. now im back to feeling like crap, not as bad but now i actually throw up from time to time. so im going back to retrying everything now that i am off my prenatals. i feel so bad though because all my food cravings are gone, i never want to eat. ANYTHING. everything nauseates me. i do try and eat ginger snaps tho. I am wondering, how many ginger snaps should i eat to try and feel better? I really dont like those things and i force about 6 down my throat before giving up. anybody got a serving size?

I'm 22 weeks pregnant, very petite (5'1" and currently 118 lbs) and have had some difficulty breathing. This has become an inconvenience at work, especially when people come into the office and I'm gasping like fish out of water. Other than inhaling deeply and drinking water, which seems to help, does anyone have any other tips to avoid further discomfort at inconvenient times? Thanks for your help!

I am 5 mos pregnant with my first although, I have wanted to have a child of my own for a while now I was extatic when I found out I was finally pregnant. But, now that I am, I am kinda scared that I wont be able to cope with it. I am one of those people who are scared of any kind of pain. I was thinking epidural but, then that even scares me. I am really excited but I am also very scared. Can someone please give me some reasurance. So in the next 4 mos. I can go in there and kick but and not be so scared. Thanks.

I am 37 weeks.Last week at my appt. when I was 36 weeks I measures 37 weeks.I have been measuring a weeks bigger everytime.But yesterday at my appt. when I am supposed to measure 37 weeks, I measured 35 weeks! I think that is very weird.All the doctor really said about that is "Maybe it's because the baby is moving down" I went for a non stress test because the baby also hasn't been moving that much.Everything came out okay I guess. It took about an hour or so to get the baby to wake up.I have to go back Monday for another stress test. I am just wondering if anyone else out there has been through this.?. I don't know if I should be concerned. My doctor isn't REALLY concerned.Please any advice or feedback would be great....Thanks so much..........
