I'm not sure what the HPV part has to do with kittens... if you're asking about the safety of having cats when you're pregnant, it's not the cats themselves that are dangerous, it's in cleaning up after them. When you change the litter yourself, you're at a risk (albeit a small risk) of contracting toxoplasmosis. I've read that you can have the cat tested as well, but I don't know exactly what bacteria or virus they look for. I suppose if your kitten doesn't take well to the litter box, you may have more messes to clean up, and that may increase your risk. Wearing gloves and other protective gear should help.

Maybe this doesn't help answer your question with regards to HPV, but that's all I got.

I haven't a clue what kittensh have to do with HPV. Avoid changing the litter boxes, cat feces can contain Toxiplasmosis--a very bad disease that will give your baby birth defects. As far as the HPV you'll be fine, your doc just needs to measure your cervix during your pregnancy to insure it is wide enough for the growth of the baby and if it isn't they just put a few stitches in there to hold it.

Yes.

Just don't change the litter box unless you have to. If you do, wear rubber or latex gloves and wash your hands with antibacterial soap. The only risk from kittens is toxiplasmosis (sp?) and my doctor wasn't very concerned about it. I had cats through all 3 of my pregnancies (2 were high risk).

Be sure to wash your hands after handling the kittens and, of course, before eating. You'll be fine. Just be sure to remind your doctor that you have cats.

Your HPV has nothing to do whether you can or can't have a kitten. Kittens are safe, assuming they are healthy, just make sure somebody else is emptying the litter box.

You are fine and baby is fine. Do not do anything with the dirty litter. Let your husband take care of that. You can feed the kittens and play with them. When the baby comes introduce them to the baby. Do not leave any animal alone with a baby. They are animals and their method of play could hurt a small child.

Be extra careful. Becuz after a cone biopsy you can miscarry really easy. I wouldn't be worrying about a cat right now. lus thier pee is bad for you get rest. I dunno what a cat has to do wit all of this...but you don't need to extra stress of it.

Just don't change the litter because it has bacteria in it that causes Toxioplasmosis which is dangerous. Kittens are fine, just don't touch kitty litter

I love the thumbs down for a correct answer. Thanks
