When I got pregnant, I gained 10 pounds the first two weeks and then lost it until about 22 weeks. Mainly because of morning sickness and I was limited in the foods I could handle. Don't worry, it's normal. You'll gain the weight soon enough. Don't eat more than you can handle, if your not hungry don't force yourself, it will do more harm than good. Try to break meals up if you are having a hard time eating big meals, little meals throughout the day will help you maintain your blood sugar level and you won't feel so sick. Also, drink alot of water and I found that if I had a glass of milk every morning I didn't feel so sick by lunch. If your still losing weight by 22 weeks or more, talk to your doctor. Also, remember, gaining too much weight can be just as unhealthy as gaining too little. Just eat healthy and you'll be fine.

When I was pregnant I had the same problem. I would take my vitamins before bed. That helped, I lost 12 pounds the last 6 weeks of my last pregnancy and did milkshakes to help my weight. I hate ice cream and milkshakes but it did make me gain and it helped with heartburn. I also ate more meals in smaller portions so I wasn't as full all at one time. These were all advice from my doctor and nurse. They seemed to help. First pregnancies can also be the reason. Ask your OB is always a good idea. It isn't smart to eat and continually throw up due to dehydration (not fun, did that also) best of luck to you!

I wouldn't worry too much about it. If the doctor is really concerned they will let you know. I am currently 20 weeks too and I have lost a total of 9 pounds. When they did my sonogram last week it showed a very healthy and active baby boy who is weighing in 3oz over the average weight at this time. When my sister was pregnant with my niece she only gain 10 pounds and didn't gain it until her 3rd trimester.

Are you even seeing a doctor? I think it is really irresponsible for anyone to tell you that this is okay, any doctor worth his salt would tell you different.
Unfortunately you are at the part of the pregnancy where you will feel sick alot more than not. It will get better, but please let a doctor know, if you have one he/she should have noticed by now since the first thing they do is weigh you when you come in

I can tell you that if you are vomitting every time you force yourself to eat Stop Forcing and Eat When Hungry. Not every woman gains 80 lbs

I have the same problem, I am 38 weeks and haven't gained a single pound... lately I started loosing weight. Don't worry about it too much and don't eat junk food just to add calories. The baby will suck what he needs out of you, so if you are not really anorectic and eat normal, the baby will be just fine {mine is healthy and growing properly, too!).

You need to talk to your doctor. You should be gaining at least 1 pound a week at this point, not losing weight. If you are still throwing up your doctor will probably give you something b/c your baby is being deprived of nutrients.

Don't sweat it. I usually loose 20 lbs during my pregnancies. With my first, I even lost 8 lbs at the end of the pregnancy and delivered a healthy 8lb baby. As long as your belly swells, you are fine. Here is a thought for you, what you gain during the pregnancy (minus the baby, afterbirth, and breast milk) is yours to keep after the baby is born. Don't diet but don't sweat the weight loss.

I lost weight until my 3rd trimester because of the vomiting and I also have had loose stools all throughtout my pregnancy. As long as the baby is gaining weight you'll be okay. Try to eat as often as possable even if you throw up atleast the baby gets something you know. Make sure you take vitamins, my prenatal vit. made me sick so I take two childrens chewables, they say that equals one prenatal, and it tastes better! You should be fine, just try to eat as often as you can.

As long as you are drinking your prenatal vitamins and eating healthy you are doing okay!!! It is normal that you are loosing weigth if you are throwing up after eating, but just to keep it this way eat healthy fruits, veggies, milk, chicken, fish and avoid cokes, coffee, teas and all fats you can once in a while eat fats and snaks but try to eat healthy and maybe later on your stomach will stop throwing up and you will gain weigth ..... Just cool down and don't worry unless your Dr, say thare is something wrong worry about it !! goosd luck !!!

Once you get past the sick stage you will start to gain weight. just make sure you take your vitamins everyday. my friend was so sick she actually lost 10 pounds for her entire pregnancy and still had a 7 pound healthy baby boy. Some women just get very sick during their pregnancies. just hang in there 20 more weeks to go!!!
