I have heard the coco butter works well for some women, it did not work for me. My "baby marks" don't bother me or my husband. Mine did fade pretty fast and are flesh-tone not purple. If you get them I hope you can accept them as part of your wonderful experience. Good luck!

There is really no way..they have special creams and ,otions out there that are designed for stretch marks to help reduce the appearance but it will not cure them...Stretch marks sre due to your bodys elasticity and mother nature...some women get them and some dont..plastic surgery can get rid of them but i dont recommend that, ever since i had my first child 6 years ago i got stretch marks, and they are still there (faded some) but still noticable, then i had my second and got a few more and now im on my third and just gonna have to deal with them again...there no fun! Good Luck!

I talked to a dermatologist about this problem because I've lost alot of weight. You can try the lasers, but they do not get rid of the stretch mark, they only get rid of the redness so that it blends in with the rest of your skin. That does help camoflauge it, but that will also happen in time.
I tried some of those "creams" before the dermatologist and none of them worked, including mederma. The dermatologist said that nothing has ever been proven to help stretch marks. You can prevent them but once they are there, they are yours forever. Sorry....

Plastic surgery may be the only way to completely get rid of them; however, there are many things you can do to minimize their appearance. Cocoa butter creams are probably the cheapest alternative. And then there are other stretch mark creams over the counter and by prescription through a dermatologist. I had laser treatment done which made a huge difference. You can also get chemical peels. Good luck!

They are life long beauty marks from your children. They will fade but they will never go away. Unless you have surgery to remove them.
