You usually start showing by the 5th month but sometimes sooner, there are many variables which effect this.
also try going to this site, this developement callender is really cool. http://www.babycenter.com/memberbenefits/index3.jhtml/?scid=GOO:ADW:CAMP2:TSTWRDS&ef_id=1039:3:b4e8568d07bcae2207ed8d199017721c_296195312:K8r9wEGvMUMAAH9rbZIAAAAV:20070125153612

Honestly, it's different for every woman, really sorry to say there's no telling how big someone will get , how small they will look or how they'd carry. It's one of those guessing games just like a due date. It's estimated so you have a good rounded number to go by or count down too.
Either way it's different for everyone.
With my first child, I never showed until I was near 7 months, I am petite, and always have been on the thin side, so I didn't builk up in the begining, and never really got big at the end either. WIth my second I didn't show until about the end of 6 months and stayed small till the end yet again. I"m on my third now, hit 7 months this week and have a small little soccor ball for a stomach, smaller than a ball but it's there. Unless I stand sideways someone would have to look tiwce to tell if I"m pregnant. Though they only have to ask and I'd tell them I getting kicked in the ribs all day long! Isn't pregnancy so much fun!
Good luck and if you relaly want something to go by, start taking pictures of your growing belly month to month or more, that way if you can't tell how rounded your getting you'd have pictures to show that little lump a bump growing! And it'll be neat to show your kids when they're old enough. Hey that was you! :-) Enjoy !

If this is your first you might not start to show until you are about 4 months pregnant. Every woman is different. A friend of mine never showed in any of her 5 pregnancies she carried to term. I on the other hand felt like a house during all three of mine. Around the time you start to show you will also start to feel the baby move. You can start to feel the baby move anywhere between 14 and 18 weeks along. Get used to counting in weeks, you'll be doing it a lot now! Congratulations on the baby!

I am also 5'4 and around 120 lbs. I started showing at 3 months, very faintly, but enough to have to start wearing baggier clothes....it will depend on your size, in part, but also whether or not you are carrying the baby further out or more inside. Some women who are also small will not show until 5 months or later because the baby is carried more toward the back than the front.

Congrats :)

I'm 5'1 and I weighed about 125-130 whe I found out I was two weeks pregnant with my daughter (current pregnancy). I started showing when I was about 3 1/2-4 months. This is my second pregnancy so I really started bubbling out fast. With my first pregnancy, I had a slight curve that started around my 4th month but it didn't really become anything until my 5th. You tend to show sooner with the more pregnancies you've had or at least thats what the dr told me.

I just asked a similar question lol! Im almost 15 weeks pregnant with my first and im not showing at all! the only thing that makes me know that im pregnant was hearing the heart beat and feeling little pokes in my belly lol. But the feedback I got was that some women told me that it takes longer for you to show if its your first child. I know I cant wait untill I get that pregnant belly lol! it can take up to 4-6 months it just depends on your body! hope this helps and good luck to you!!! and congrats!!!

I takes a while for you to show, even if you are small. By now you should be at least feeling a difference in your clothes but no one else may notice. I can't give you a defenate time but I'm smaller and didn't start showing until about 18 weeks. Congrats on the pregnancy!

I was about 132 lbs. and 5'4 when I got pregnant. I did not start showing until I was about 4 months along. Then, it was on. I really blossomed when I started wearing maternity clothes it seemed. It definetly depends on your body and the baby. You show earlier with your 2nd + children than with your first b/c your uterus is larger than it was with the first pregnancy.

So...I would bet on showing at about 16-20 weeks.

Enjoy it...its the greatest thing in the world!!!

Hi I am the same height and build as you, and with my first pregnancy, i didnt start to show till i was 5 months. I didnt get very big (looked just like i had a football up my jumper.) My daughter was only 5lb 7oz

My second pregnancy, I started to show around 2 months, and got a bit bigger than before. My daughter was 6lb 9oz

My third (and final forever) pregnancy, I started to show before i even knew i was pregnant!! I put weight on right from day one, and was absolutely huge by the time i gave birth!!! (5 meals a day didnt help!!!) My daughter (yes another girl lucky me!!!) was 7lb 13oz.

Good luck with your pregnancy, and i hope you enjoy your baby as much as i did!!!
