I felt a lot of pressure down there this morning, so I checked to see what my cervix feels like..it feels like its lower down and very squishy. Never given myself a cervical exam, obviously, just wondering if anyone knows anything about the cervix in the last few weeks of pregnancy! Thanks!

Could someone pls explain to me, step by step, and in easy terms, what should I do to get my "time off". I am so confused with so many acronyms and HR dept. at work is no help at all. I amin California, and meet all the time requieremntes to get full benefits. No vacation, or sick days though. Im due on March 31st. Its very likely that Ill need to leave work the first week of march (because of medical reasons) so... Do i need two separate forms? one for PDL and one for after baby is born for FMLA (new child leave) ? Or one stating that when I am leaving and when I am coming back is enough?? Plus, Who send this info to the state?? Work just gave me a form for FMLA, and another for the doctor to fill out....is there something else I have to check on??? how many "paid" weeks do i get?? the 4 weeks previous to birth, 6 weeks after birth and then 12 weeks without pay?? PLEASE HELP in your own words.... websites are so confusing..

so there is a possibility that im preg...i brought up this possibility with my bf and at first he was excited...then it turned into him saying if i am i should give the baby up for adoption....then he went back to saying how if its a boy he wants to teach it to play baseball or if its a girl how he will be very protective of her...what is up with that??
how do i tell my parents and family if i am?? (im 20 and i dont live at home anymore)
im afraid if i am what his family will think of me....(like if he was with his ex they wouldnt of had a baby yet....)
maybe im over analyzing.....help!!

I have a new babysitting job and i haven't had one for about a year. I have no idea what to charge. I will be baby sitting a 3 year old little gir every once in a wile. So her perants can go out on a date or what ever they need. I was thinking somewere inbetween 5-10$ but wasn't sure because i don't want to charge to much or not enough.

I dont think there should be, however one of the ladies i work with mentioned it. I though it is an interestion descussion point. I feel that as long as parents are working, taking care of the families, raising them to be upstanding members of society there is nothing wrong with having large families. I do have a problem with women having 15 children one right after another, for the rest of us to pay for with our taxes while mom and dad are sitting at home on their butts or those who have all the kids taken by the state an still continue to have more..the logic isnt there.

When the baby was born did they make moves to get back and if so why did you take him back if you had been negleted when you needed them most, how could you forgive such selfish behaviour?

In my case I got pregnant, he delighted at telling everyone, then dumped me before are wedding, now wants backs (only because I financially more secure than him) when I refused, he refused any child support payments. Now at 38 weeks I think he family are under some strange illusion that I could take a weak man like this back. My family and friends would be appaulled if I did, but Im interested to know what was the insentive for taking your partner back, financial support, for the child or perhaps giving the family unit thing a go, even though the trust must be gone?

I know I have something wrong with me mentally, but I refuse to get help. I'm told by my husband that I'm just psychotic b1tch and should never have been made a mother. I neglect my children. You can see from their pictures that they are dirty. I just don't like my kids. I take pictures and have my 360 site up for my husband, but I just hate my children. some one brought op andera yates in an answer given to a questions i didnt know who she was so i looked it up i read the details about her and found that she drowned her 5 kids in a bath tub and recently they have been trying to over through her conviction of the death penalty i didnt compleatly under stand if they had or not or even if they were going to im shocked think a mother would kill her kids i mean yeah i can see loseing your cool and yelling but never hurting them i dont understand why people hurt their kids weather it be beating them or killing them why dont people get help if they have thoughts like this so my question is what are your thoughts on what she did am i the only person who is outraged by this and doesnt think she should beable to go to a mental hospital (their talking about letting her out of prison to be in an institute) i think if you kill some one you sould go to prison none of this im crazy bull cr*p also her kids were named after bible figure mary john ect

I make my daughter work alot. She is 7 and mops and sweeps and takes the dog out...takes garbages out, empties the dishwasher... and more. She does chores almost everyday, some paid and some are just expected. I am now pregnant and she said "wow, mom with two kids to help you clean, think how spotless this place will be!' I almost burst out laughing but caught myself. When she is ata sleepover this place is so clean. So spotless... and I realize... even with all her chores, and both of us cleaning... it is never as clean as when she is not here! How much more with her and a baby? How can one kid make so much mess... when she picks up after herself alot and does some housework too???

Ok, a friend of mine is going through a bad divorce, both times she got pregnant she told him that she was using birth control and after showing up pregnant she admitted that she wasnt and she was wanting a a baby. He is more than happy to pay support now (even though she's taking him to the cleaners) and I just wanted a few opinions on this. I don't think the state should have to pay for the kids, I'm not saying that at all. She is also trying to send him to prison for something he did not do and it looks like she's going to succeed. I realize that women get pregnant while on birth control and that it isnt 100% and of course thats kind of a risk that both parties take when having consentual sex, but when a person is outright lied to about the other person being on birth control, what do you think about this? I"d like womens opinions as well as mens. Thanks!
