what do you think is the best age gap?

2-3 years. My sister had two in diapers and it was a NIGHTMARE.

On the other side, my kids are 27, 20 and 10. The biggest perk there was built-in babysitting! :D

I was the baby of 3 years between the eldest and the middle, and the same between the middle and I. 3 years seems like a good gap to me and the little woman and I strived to repeat the pattern. It didn't quite work out. We had daughter 3 year gap miss, 3 year gap (totalling six) and boy. They both arrived normal healthy and all bits where they were supposed to be. We love them both unconditiionaly. what more could ytou ask for?
Aim for whatever you think will suit you, and accept the outcome gratefully. Above all enjoy the 'production' and revel in the delightfull outcome of your endeavours.

Most of my kids are 14-15 months apart... the bigest gap is 2 years.. I prefer them closer... they all get along better I think. The 14-15 month old isnt old enough to remember life without the other. which is good for those that are worried about jelously issues.

my wife and I are expecting our 3rd baby on 22nd feb, only 10mths after having our twin girls. WE WOULDNT CHANGE IT FOR THE WORLD but from what we have discussed with other parents a 2 year age gap seems to be the best. good luck

Ours are 18 months apart, age 3 and 18 months.

They try to destroy each other or collaborate to wreck some part of the house/furniture whenever your backs turned

It costs about £50 a month just for nappies

You can't move for toys+pushchairs

They are very funny and we love them dearly but
its very hard going, i would recommend you wait til the first one's at school

I think one to two years in a great age difference. Then they can play with each other and hopefully be good friends as they get older.
