that the baby will be ugly? .Would it be rude too give it away?And also if by chance the poor fella gets delt a bad hand in the looks area what do I tell my friends and family?

just because my friend gave birth about a week ago to a very ugly baby its icky and its fat and it all ready has a double chin! and it has a odd shaped head.Her and Jim are good looking so I dont understand why they would have a fat icky baby

You people need to chill.Fine if its ugly Ill just tell it to make friends with the pretty kids so it will look better.Does that make you feel better.

How could you give a baby away cause it could be ugly? No mother will think her baby is ugly. Its a special gift. How old are you ? The baby will change 100's of times before its 5. It will lose the double chins ect.......
Why could you not love a baby that was not as cute as you would want it to be? I'm guessing if the baby is born with something wrong with him or her you will be giving her away?
Anyway I am a mommy of 2 and i would love them if they were ugly, but i was blessed with beautiful children. If your baby is born ugly I would be more then happy to take the little bundle from you !!!!!!

All babies are ugly after birth. Their heads are shaped funny because of the birth canal and will round out soon enough. They are red and pimply because their skin isn't mature yet either.
Once you see your baby you won't care about what other people thought anyhow because he will be beautiful to you.
If you would seriously consider giving away a child due to looks or medical problems then you should not be having children. You never know what could happen and your child could have a serious medical condition.
No I NEVER worried my baby would be ugly, I knew I would love him no matter what!

Honestly, I was worried my little guy would be ugly! Don't worry though if your baby is because so many newborns are kinda ugly! lol. Anyways, when I delivered him and the doc layed him on much chest and he looked up at me, he was the cutest thing I have ever seen!
You might think other people's babies are ugly but I GUARANTEE you won't think yours is. I figure because since the baby will have either some of yours, your husbands, or a combo of both of your features that you will be totally in love with his/her looks.
If you have an ugly baby (which I'm sure you won't) don't worry because I was a fat, ugly, baby that looked like a boy, and I'm pretty good looking now (only "tooting my own horn" for reference purposes) so don't judge a babies looks by what they will grow up to look like!

Is this question serious???First of all if you even thought about giving the baby because its not cute like its parents then you should seriosly reconsider.Secondly,when this baby is growing inside you and you see the scans, the feelings you get are second to none.If you have that connection with the baby when its in your womb it wont matter how cute looking it is when its born.The biggest concern you will have, is it healthy.This by the way is from a father of 2-not a mother!!

oh my god is that your main concern,what if you have an ugly baby...you really need to grow up because there are more serious complications that can occur then your baby not being "very cute" like you and your husband...rude to give it away,its people like you that make me wish that people could be sterilized so the gene pool won't be so cluttered.
after not being able to get pregnant when i finally did having an ugly baby never crossed my mind..i was grateful to have her

Maybe you should wait to have kids until you're less shallow about appearances. Some kids are ugly. Some are cute. You should be grateful for what you get considering some folks don't get to have any kids and they'd be thrilled to get the butt-ugliest kid in the world.

my nephew was the ugliest baby EVER (next to his mother, my sister), but man, when he grew up - WOW!!! he's good looking!!!
he looked like an alien. he was long (over 35 inches) and skinny with a huge head and long skinny arms and legs flailing all over the place. uugg- nasty!
and as he was growing , his legs were super long. the poor child wore high water sweatpants his whole childhood because not even 'Levi' company could make them long enough to look normal. (Levi company will make them special for your body for a price). now he's well over 6 feet tall (size 16 shoe) and still thin, but graceful and well mannered and SMART (i guess he needed that big head as a baby so the brain would fit)

All baby's are a little ugly when they are first born, they are squished through a small space to get into this world.
In time they lose that look and develop facial features and personality's.
All of my children were a little funny looking when they were first born and now they are extremely beautiful.
