I prefer Jayce or Jayse for ease of pronunciation. Plus, a lower case 'y' looks so beautiful in a signature when Jace is older.
I love the name for a boy. If you are afraid of stepping out of the box too much, you could make his official name Jason and just call him Jayce or Jase or Jace.

I know a couple that named their #1 son JACE. They pronounce it Jace ( like face with a J in stead of an F ) Don't know the meaning, but it's different. Not too many I've ever heard of.

Its a very unique name i had never heard of it until i met my future brother in law lol..and he seems to like it. I think its a cute name for a little boy.
