Never "have sex and ask questions later"! Always protect your self. If it has been less than 72 hours since the last time you had unprotected sex, go get a prescription for Plan B or emergency pill. And while you are there, talk to your doc or a nurse about another form of birth control. I have heard doctors saying now, with the risks of STDs getting higher, its better to just use condoms as barrier for STDs and also using ANOTHER form of birth control, like the pill, to not get pregnant. Condoms were designed to be used with another form of birth control. So, please, if you are not trying to get pregnant, find a form of birth control that works best for you!

I got pregnant once on my period but miscarried at 5 weeks. You have a 20-25% chance each month of getting pregnant. You can take a pregnancy test 19 days after the day you think you may have conceived.

Any time you have unprotected sex you are risking getting pregnant. Doing it while on your period does not make that risk any less.

You are supposed to not be able to get pregnant on your period, but anything is possible. If you are late you should take a test to know for sure.

Slim to none. Most people don't ovulate while on their period and if your cycle is that long you're one of the many.
