So her perants can go out on a date or what ever they need. I was thinking somewere inbetween 5-10$ but wasn't sure because i don't want to charge to much or not enough.

I would suggest $5-6 an hour.
I pay $5 for my 3 year old, $7 an hour if they are watching my 2 & 3 year old, and $10 an hour if they are watching all 3 of my kids. I have never had a complaint, and the two girls I usually use call me ASKING when the next time they can babysit is. $10 for one kid? I would never pay that high- ever and if someone asked me to, I'd likely thank her for her offer of watching my children but politely decline.
However-... I do want to state I live in Ohio. In places where the cost of living is so muc higher, I think the amount could greatly differ. For example... In Southern California where things are a lot more $$$ then they are here, I'd pay more per child.
