Has anyone else had this problem remain for such a long time following a miscarriage? I don't think it's psychological, can it be hormonal as I wasn't well afterwards and they didn't quite know what was wrong with me. I am much better now but still no libido...my partner is very understanding but I worry about the future of my relationship.

My first baby is due in about a month and I'm stuck between two names. I know some people say "wait till you have him, you'll know then" but we have a muralist coming to paint the nursery and he wants our sons name detailed on the wall above the crib. My sister isn't helping me pick, and my husband claims he likes both choices. Our last name is McKenna (of Irish descent)
1) Justin James McKenna
2) Zachary Michael McKenna

thank you for your help!

I think it's an absolute shame when a woman does not not know who fathered her child/children. Now I'm all for a woman having her fun and what not, but she BETTER know who fathered her babies! Or else Maury will always have a show!! Which I don't mind, because I personally LOVE the Maury paternity shows. But it's sad sometimes because these kids can't pick their mommies...

What do you think?

My husband's mother came to visit, and to make a long story short, she's not the best mother on the planet. She wanted to take the baby out of his carseat on the freeway because he was crying (thought the seat was unnecessary), she was mad becuase I wouldn't let her give him beans (he just turned 6 months old) & she said that I was way too overprotective and spoiling him (much more happened over a period of 3 days). The final straw came when she was insisting that I picked him up & cuddled him too much. I tried to be diplomatic and said that everyone raises their babies differently, and that he was happy & healthy & I'll pick him up whenever I want to. She physically blocked the doorway to his room and insisted I let him cry. I asked once for her to move and she wouldn't, so I pushed her out of the way. Now she's telling everyone I'm agressive and have issues and that I attacked her. What do I do? BTW, this is was 1st time she's seen the baby since he was born.

We hear stories everyday of people looking for their birthparents. Should all adoptions be open AND should the records be kept with ONE agency and available to the children when the time comes?

Sounds like a silly question, but I was on an exercise ball a little while ago and fell off backwards hard onto my butt, it really sort of knocked the wind out of me! I had a painless but very tight contraction right after I fell...read online that this could cause your water to break..is this true?? Ahh!

A 17 year old member of your household gets his girlfriend pregnant for the 2nd time, they are insisting that you take them in. Neither has a steady job and has run away numerous times, they insist on having and keeping their baby although they've had one previous abortion, do they have the right to impose themselves on you?

said to myself that it didnt matter if it was a boy or a girl as long as they were healthy. after we had the two boys, i sort of felt thankful that we had boys since i never have really understood women. i sort of think it is a nice gift that i will not have to figure out how to raise a daughter and just have to figure out how to raise a son. is this bad to be thankful to God for having sons after they were born?

My husband and I are expecting our first child...a boy....July 1st. It took us 4 1/2 years to conceive this child so of course we are extremely thrilled. We just found out it was a boy and are very excited. So far the name we have picked out is

Alexander James-Ray.

Alex was my second choice that my husband liked better than Seth (my first choice) and James and Ray are the grandfather's middle names that we want to use. What do you think of this name? We will call him Alex. Do you think it is simple enough but unique enough? Do you think he will like his name when he is older?

my friend wants to have the baby and keep it. Can the mother have any say in what happens?

My wife recently took an adult dose, 2 tablespoons, of Pepto-Bismol MAX Strength (active ingredient Bismuth Subsalicylate 525 mg per tablespoon).

Ten hours later she pumped 6 ounces of breast milk which she can't decide whether to keep or dispose of.

She's concerned because the allergy warning on the bottle includes the following line:

* Do not take if you are allergic to salicylates (including ASPIRIN)

My husband travels and I work. I don't want to work for more than a year after having the baby but during that time I do not want to put a little one in daycare. We are trying to think of our options and one thing I came up with was an Au Pair. I've looked at a couple of websites and see varying prices. Does anyone know what is typically charged? A good organization to work with? Any other pointers or advice would be great!!!

really stop u doing everyhting u wanted to do? Im 26 weeks pregnant, andI hear so many people say that once the baby is here your sex life will disapear, u won't be a ble to travel, u won't have any money, u won't be able to sleep, blah blah blah. But surely, with exception of maybe the first year, u can still do all the things u want to in life? I have travelled in my life, but plan to do a lot more, and can't wait to take baby along for the cultural experience. In fact, i would imagine it would be more fun with your child along!! i really can't see that having a baby should stop me doing anything really, surely its a state of mind to a degree... if u think u can't/shouldn't do it, then u won't!!!
