This can be different for every woman.....but now that you've stopped breastfeeding, you should begin to regulate yourself (or your body, rather). If this is a major concern for you and causing you stress, you may want to check with your OB/GYN.....they can prescribe you some birth controll pills to, at least, get you more regulated. Once your periods return and everything is evening out, you can stop taking them if you want. No matter what you decide, I would at least give my Dr. a call. Hope this helps.............

PS: Pregnancy can only be achieved if you ovulate....and you may think you aren't ovulating, but you very well may be. I got pregnant while nursing (no period) a baby, and didn't realize it for almost 3 months. When there was no period, I didn't really have an alert....but I have 2 kids really close together!!:)

#1 , have you had sex since your son was born, cause it sounds like you could be pregnant again, trust me it can and does happen very often. I have a cousin that finally had her husbands sperm implanted because they were having trouble getting pregnant, so when their baby was about 5 months she was totally caught off guard when they found out they were pregnant again, my sisters kids are also 1 year apart to the day. If you cannot possibly pregnant then you should go see your doctor, to see whats causing your body to react this way. Good luck.
