I was in the store with my 12 year old..she was carrying my son(her baby bro) around, who is 4 months. A lady approached her and started lecturing her that she was too young to be a mama! My daughter was trying to explain she was the sister and the lady said "Well keep it in mind, honey..there's nothing worse than a teenage mom!" I told the woman to mind her own business but was very pissed..especially since my daughter was the result of a teenage pregnancy! What should I have said?

My husband and I haven't been married for that long so they don't know each other that well they have meet a handful of times and used to talk on the phone a bit. My mother in law is very jelous of my mother that's the only reason I feel she wont be happy. Note: I have a doctor's appointment for next week, the earliest I could get in. Do NOT say, "Just go to your doctor and find out."

After skipping both December and January's periods, I took a HPT and was given a positive. We figured that we concieved in mid-December, mainly because I had some nasty morning sickness starting in mid-January. I have been extremely nausated for the past 2 weeks.

Today as I went to the bathroom, I wiped and there was a strand of bloody mucas. No cramping, no vomiting, just one gooey strand of maroon colored blood. I have put on a pad (unhappily, I might add) and so far there's nothing else.

Break-through bleeding and miscarriage or "common" in pregnancy?

Mu husband and I are trying to conceive, my last period was on Jan 8th and my cycles are about 32-35 days...we had sex on Jan. 20th, 25th and 27th and plan to today (the 29th), the last 2 days i have noticed an increase of vaginal discharge (clear egg-white like) mostly when i go to the bathroom, it comes out long, and thick string like... but also periodically throughout the day it comes out a little (too much info, i know, sorry). I know im probably around the time of ovulation (which is why we have been trying more now) but im wondering if this could be a sign of me being pregnant?? I have also had a lower abdominal feeling that I never had before (which could be anxiety but could maybe be from everything going on in my uterus)?? Its to early for me to test, i just want to know if anyone else had this before and if you ended up being pregnant or what, because we really want a baby and want more than anything to be pregnant.

Does anyone know of an online chatroom/support group online that I could join to help me deal with the loss of my twins? Please let me know. I am having a very difficult time dealing with it. I find myself resenting my friends who are having beautiful healthy babies. I keep thinking "That should be me having my babies". I don't understand why God took them from me. Please help!

My best friend is pregnant. Her boyfriend died in a car accident before she ever found out that she was expecting. He didn't have any other children and it would mean alot to her if she were able to give her child his last name. Is there a way to legally accomplish this, considering that he can't sign the birth certificate or be involved in a DNA test?

I have a daughter aged 16 months, i have not been with her father since i was 3 months pregnant as he was violent and i didnt want to bring my daughter into a violent relationship.
Throughout my pregnancy i got nothing but violence and grief from him, even him threatening to kill my baby because he didnt think it was his (i was 8 months). (and she is his 100%)
However i have allowed him to have contact with my daughter for her sake, at first he had to see her with me there, but as she is older he now takes her out for the day.
Hes now wanting her over night but i have told him no as she is not sleeping through the night i dont want to disrupt her routine, and make it worse, he is calling me a bad mother as she does not sleep through, is what he says true or is he just being a bully again to get his own way?

trying to keep doctors from running tests for you because they are expensive, or try to get you to not stay in the hospital against the doctors advice? My wife was booted out of the hosptial early and the doctor told me basically the insurance company is putting up a fight and we are having difficulty keeping her here, but still thought she should stay at least another day? this also happens to women having babies they get booted out when sometimes they are not ready. DO doctors really get a check at the end of the year from insurance companies because they cut hospital stays and tests for their patients? this seems like it's discrimination or something illegal to me? We pay big bucks for our HMO plan how cna they get away with working against us and bribing doctors like this?.
