It's normal. Every woman is different. It really depends on a lot of factors: breastfeeding, the pill or other female bc method, hormone levels, diet, weight loss, exercise program, and just about anything else you can think of including pregnancy. You could just be one of the lucky ones that doesn't get her period back after birth for a while. Mine came back right on schedule after both of my children were born. I would consult the obgyn advice nurse for your doctor's office and get checked out including a pregnancy test just to be safe.

That's normal expecially if your breast feeding. I'm in the same position and mine didn't come back until I started taking my bc pill. Then it came back heavy and I wanted it to go away. This is my second c-sec and just because you didn't deliver vaginally, you body still went thorugh the change and it takes time to get back on track. Don't worry, but I would use condoms until you start taking something for bc.

If you are breastfeeding, that is normal. I just had my twins 4 months ago, and I just got my first period. I only breastfed for 6 weeks.

After pregnancy, a women's body and hormones are all shaken up. They are very different from before pregnancy. It will take at least 1 year for them to start to get more normal. It's just your body trying to regulate itself.

I would need more information. If you have been nursing, then this is completely normal. If you are concerned, perhaps you should talk to your Ob/Gyn or go to www.webmd.com
Good luck
