I'm 23 years old, about to give birth to my 3rd child. I got a huge packet of healthcare information from the hospital that I will be delivering at. The ones I am having a hard time with are the ilving will and power of attorney for healthcare. I understand that if something goes wrong the living will covers the specific directives as to to be taken by caregivers, or, in particular, in some cases forbidding treatment. Te power of attorney for health care appoints a person to direct health care decisions if im not in a state to do so on my own. Should I fill these out? I know my previous pregnancys have been fine with no complications, should I be worried about something going wrong with this one? Just curious if anyone else has had to fill out these documents before?

when i got pregnant, my sister in law decided she wanted to get pregnant again. she's in school full time, and so is her husband. they don't work and they have a 19 month old son. both my inlaws and her husband's mom watch the baby when they're not there... which is most of the time. they don't pay for any bills... the parents pay for them. yet, my mother in law is all for her getting pregnant again. should she have another baby? or wait?

Did you notice how rude some people are in the Pregnancy and Parenting sections are? WHy is it just this section that I really notice this?

I post and answer in other sections and its another world almost. People are willing to help and offer information.

ok last month i got my period, and the begging of it was normal but by the 3rd day it was different, it was dark brown blood like old blood. but then it went back to normal. and this month i got my period and i am on the 3rd day and it has almost quit. my periods are always 5 day long. what is going on with my body.
i have also been ttc. sorry if this is graphic.

My mom is always out, and messing around with different men. She divorced my dad, and since then she has been messing around. I don't find any condoms, and i'm worried. Every night I think she has aids or HIV. She got pregnent twice, and had that shot when they kill the baby. This is proof that she may not using protection. Why is she like this? my ex-girlfriend is pregnant she cheated on me we were to gether after i found out.I told her i would take care of the child as if it were my own if that were the case.Since then we split and she told me she wanted me to sign ove all perental rights as well as her new boyfriend the one she cheated on me telling me regardless if it yours or mine the child will be calling me daddy.Is it possable to sign over parental rights befor the child is born to work as a percausinary messure and to spare the child some conffusing .cause i think nomtter how you things do have lasting effects on children.

Im pregnant w/ my 1st baby. I met this lady (who is Mexican) and she asked me what race was I and I told her Puerto Rican she then asked if my baby father was puerto rican also and I said no he is black.
She told me that I would be marked for the rest of my life and that no one would want my child and that my child will not be accepted by either races. and that my relationship with him would not last with my child father. And that if I try to be with someone else no one would want me because my child is mix. She then told me I shold really concider having an abortion. I fell bad. How could people be so ignorant.

My sister in law put photos of my husband and our 2 yr old on her My Space page. She is in her 20's and I'm not quite sure who visits her page. I do not participate in my space neither does my hubby. I politely asked her to take down the photos of my family from her page as I do not feel it is a place for my kids (or husbands) pics. She thinks I'm crazy, am I?

I have a couple questions about trying to conceive (which my husband and I ARE doing).... 1) Has any mom or soon to be mom here gotten pregnant even though you used ky lubrication? I've heard it decreases your chances because it makes it harder for the sperm to get where its trying to go,but we need to use it to make things work. 2) Is there more than a 50% chance of getting pregnant even if you use it? 3) After my husband and I have sex and he pulls out, (I immediatly prop my lower half up for 30 minutes) it seems like a river of the sperm immediatly comes out (is that normal?), is there still ALOT of it inside of me to even possibly get me pregnant? We are so trying to get pregnant and im worried its all running out of me before they can swim to where they need to go to fertilize the egg. I just want to do anything I can to increase our chances of getting pregnant. Thanks!
