I'm going to get an ultrasound in 2 hours. Had some mild menstral cramps last night and earlier that morning. Feel fine now. Breasts are not near as sore as they were before. 6 1/2 weeks pregnant. Had a m/c before.

We already have 2 boys, aged 6 and 20 months. My husband agreed that he did not want any more children. We only have a 2 bedroom house and any more kids and we would have to move, especially if we had a girl. He is on the waiting list at the hospital for a vasectomy, and I am on the depot injection. I was not happy at him having the 'snip' as the decision should be made by both of us in my opinion. He was adamant he did not want anymore so went on the waiting list. He has now decided he is getting broody and would like 1 more child. After his drastic decision a few months ago, he now thinks I should agree with him to have another baby. I would of liked another child soon after my last son was born as I am 34 in March and it took me 2 years to get pregnant with last son after stopping having the depo injection. This means if I stop it again, I could be 36 before getting pregnant again and I think this is too old. Am I now the spiteful one for not wanting anymore now.

I delivered my baby on Dec 24th, and I had an epidural (which wore off) and then a spinal block (which they messed up the first time and had to re-do it). Since then my legs have been very swollen, especially my right leg and ankle. My left isn't that bad. Also, my right leg is a little numb too.

Is this normal? Should I be worried?

I would like honest answers to this, in regards to pregnant girl, and she works, boyfriend doesn't?.........

My daughter and her boyfriend live with his parents, about an hour away..My daughter is almost 8 mos. pregnant, and is working still. Pulling one double a week...The boyfriend(whom we like), has not held a job for more than 6mos tops. He just got laid off last week and wants to "wait" till after the new year to get a job, "cause no one is hiring"(BS, is my response to that)..I think McDonalds etc, is not to his pay scale, he won't work for that amount, but isn't some income better than no income?..He dresses like he's "gangsta", that's fine, but we live in the Bible belt, and unfortunately, you are judged, first impressions, it is just how it is, especially when looking for a job....There are 5 kids, 2 adults, and now with the new dog, 2 dogs in the home. My daughter, and soon to be baby in the house, I cosigned for the car she has, and stated, that when she can't work, if the boyfriend isn't working, and I have to make the car payment, the car comes to my house..(see details)

I am not going to work my a++ off while he just lays around and pay for that car.....she and the car and the baby can move back home. I got her the car so she'd have dependable transportation, safe, and to help her get a better start in life than I sure did, and I pay the insurance...My daughter is not ungrateful, she appreciates this. But, I don't think this is right him not working with a baby coming.....so I refuse to pay the car payment/insurance when she can't work, so he doesn't have to, the car comes here, and I will drive it, its an '05, my car is a 1986, piece of crap.....I would love to hear some real opinions on this......

the boyfriend likes the "gangsta" stuff, so he got a beat up light yellow cadillac, that fell apart....she had no transportation to work, relying on his parents, and that is why I wanted her to get the car I co-signed for, but it is in my name/credit for 5yrs..so that is why I will reposses it......ps he has no drivers licence (?)..he's a good kid, but not grown up, thinking that when the baby comes, he'll either become a man, or pull his tail between his legs and cave...Nothing inbetween......

My husband and I have been thinking about me being a surrogate recently. I have 2 beautiful children who have completely blessed my life and I would really love to give that joy to someone who is unable to carry a child on her own. Ok.. I never had a period since I gave birth 6 months ago but I went on the patch aabout a month ago and this is the week I am not wearing the patch. I am not having a period I don't think. It's just spotting and I took the thing off on Monday. It has been SO LONG since I have had a period. I took a pregnancy test adn it came back negetive.
Could I be pregnant?

my daughter has two dead beat dads. who do not support there kids. she has 6 kids 2 by one dad who just got out o prison a year ago and paid up back child suport but hasnt paid any since and the other one has four kids and he dont pay. the first one even claims the two on his income taxes, for dependents and keeps the return for himself , he lives with lady that gets child suport from her kids dad. so whats up with that. my daughter could have so much more if they paid. how can I go behind her back and make the state go after them.

I got into a debate with my coworkers over this. I'd like to hear more opinions. Here's the situation:
They've been together less then a year. Boy had a great working relationship with her dad. Was allowed to date his daughter. She is known for wearing the pants in the relationship (yes even at their age!) That boy was whipped! lol. Now they find out she's 3 months preg. Age of consent is 15 in AZ. If charges were to be pressed(but i don't think they are) he could get 5 years in jail.

My opinion is that it takes two to tango. And even though she's only 14, knowing her, I have no problem saying she wouldn't have done it if she didn't want too. She probably initiated. I believe jailing the boy solves absolutely nothing, and only keeps him from offering what little he can for their baby (its his just as much as it is hers.) Why do so many people in this society punish the boy for something that both were involved in? His life is now changed just as much as hers is....

So, I have never had a period due to my medical conditions. It has caused other problems, but I am mostly concerned because that probably means I can never have children, right?
I mean, that kind of sucks because I just met my baby nephew and realized being a mom would be so awesome. My sister is such a good mommy:)
I guess I can adopt, or something else. But for now my dogs are my babies.
Please, no mean comments. I just want to know for sure.

I run a daycare in my home. One of the parents has a little girl under 2yrs. She just quailfied for SRS to pay for childcare. Her baby's daddy and her date, live together, fight, she kicks him out and then they repeat the cycle over and over again. She is constantly complaining that he doesn't take care of their daughter enough and just wants to hang out doing his own thing without having his daughter with him, he's a job hopper running out of jobs to hop to in our small town, they are currently dating again but she hasn't let him move back in yet; but she informed me that they are trying to get pregnant again. She constantly ignores my daycare policies and doesn't bother to read the notes I occasionally send home with updates on them like dates I am closed for the holidays and then shows up with the little girl on the days I am closed. If the little girl wasn't such a sweetie I would have given her notice months ago. How can she rationalized trying to get pregnant again?

My sister is due in 8 weeks with a little girl... they have chosen to name her Josaphine Lane (last name).... they are trying to decide if they should call her just Josie or have her name be hyphenated to Josie Lane (as her first name)... just curious which sounds best... Josie or Josie Lane? Thanks!

My son is only 2 but when he gets angry he will hit, pinch, or bit depending on what he is in the mood for I guess.But he does not just do it to others he will even do it to his self! Is this something I should be worried about? R do you think it is a phase that he will grow out of?

My husband wants 5 children which I will never give him...I am just not that type of person..Plus, me and him are having trouble the last thing I want to do is add another child in the picture..He has always wanted many children , but I wasn't aware of how badly until after our first was born..My child is great I love him with all my heart I just don't want to have the responsability of any more...I want to have a career, and travel..I already feel that I protect the family I would rather not add any more people to take care of...
But besides all that I know that it would be nice for my son to have a sister/brother for when he is older and me and his father are old..Is it selfish that I just don't want to go through it again? My son is only 2 and I just couldn't imigine taking care of 2 I would lose my mind!
