It has been a long time so I do not remember if it hurt or how it felt later. When I think about loosing my virginity, I always have a happy memory. I was truly in love with him and will always love him. I do not regret it because he was the perfect person to experience that with. Do not be so anxious to have sex, make sure it is the right person so you can always feel good about it.

I lost mine at 16 1/2 after being with my boyfriend for 9 months. It did hurt a little and was very nervous, but i new he was right for me at the time. I did not regret it.
Only do what you feels right and think carefully that if you have to ask then maybe its not the right time.

PLEASE WAIT. I lost my virginity when I was 18 and it changed me alot. I don't know why but I became emotional and very insecure. Imagine that you are about to marry the man of your dreams (not your bf now) and think how special it will be to give him something no other man could get. Also, think of it the other way around, imagine that your future husband is waiting to give you something no other woman could get.
I know you are young and marriage is the last thing you are thinking about, but just remember.... EVERYTHING you do now will have somewhat of an impact on your future husband that you don't even know.
Trust me, I'm 27 and made many mistakes. I've seen the impact of my mistakes with my husband of one year. I didn't even know him when I made my mistakes.
I also know that we learn from our mistakes and from other.
Take care and think it through

I think you might be to young to even know this at this prior moment.. So, I would say ask your parents!! Don't do it just because your friends are!! You will regret it!! Keep in mind that if you do you have a chance of bringing a innocent baby into this world you might not be ready for!! So be smart and think about it..

Losing your virginity will hurt a little bit. There is nothing to really compare it to, but I found it really mild. More of a discomfort than anything.
I lost mine to my first love when I was 16 1/2. I did not regret it. The popular misconception is that you will regret losing your virginity if you don't wait until marriage. My question is: What if you save it for marriage, and then regret NOT losing it and then you are married and have only been with one person and then you wonder what you have missed out on, and then you are tempted to cheat?
I personally think that 16 is mature enough to have sex, but that is just my opinion.
My best advice to you is to follow your heart, and make him wear a condom. Safe sex is the most important thing.

For people giving me thumbs-down: I think it is unrealistic to expect our kids to resist the primal and NATURAL urges of sex. Sex is not sinful, it is a natural act. I think it is better to educate our kids about safe sex rather than SCARE them and make them feel guilty about it.
