Im pregnant and the father is the businessman from Hongkong but he is Brit. When i told him i am pregnant he told me to abort it and stupid i am, i followed him coz he told me he is going to support me financially. Now i went back to the doctor after my ultrasound the baby is still alive. When i ask for financial assistance he agreed to send me money but after a week when i emailed him he already erased his yahoo mail. I decided to continue my pregnancy and keep the baby coz my conscience cant bear it. Who ever know this guy, he owns a logistic company in hongkong he said it belongs to top 10 in Hongkong. He even told me i just wanted to be preganant coz that would be my passport going abroad, if that is his experience from other girls, im not like that. Im not after for his money. I did even ask single centavo when he was here in Philippines. I have my own job i can support this baby. Pls email me at kayish_00@yahoo.com for private information.

My husband and I have been asked to babysit/housesit 3 teenagers (mostly - 16, 13, and 11) for twelve days. We would be responsible for making food, making them sure they get off to school in the mornings (and into bed on time at night), and driving them to their after-school activities (lessons, scouts, etc.). We would also be staying at their house the entire time.

Any ideas?

I don't know the family well (like I don't know whether or not the kids are problem-children, etc.). Their grandma attends my church and that is how we connected. I also don't know their financial situation.

Grandparents normally do these kinds of things, but can't this time because the grandpa is having open heart surgery the same week.

When you get your sonogram and they give you the estimate due date, how many actually happened on that day?

Do you just take the pill because it is so well-known or did you do research to find the best birth control method for you? Are you aware that there are methods out there that are SIGNIFICANTLY safer, more effective, and impossible or difficult to mess up (unlike the pill)? After having my first daughter, conceived on the pill, I did significant reserch and found out the pill is highly overrated. Why is the pill so widely used when there are better options like the nuva ring and mirena? The pill is such a pain, and much riskier, I dont get it. It it just due to the fact that we arent educated well enough about advances in birth control? Why do YOU take the pill?

I had a baby in February and had lost all but 6 lbs. at my post partum visit, but since then I have gained an additional 14lbs. for some unknown reason? I am also breastfeeding so I should be burning an additional 500 calories a day. Am I the only person on the planet who this has happened to? My doctor thinks I have just been eating too much and exercising too little, but my complaint is that I did that before too, so why gain weight now? We checked my thyroid a few months ago and it was fine.

I was wondering if there are any witchs/wiccan/pagan parents out there. Are you very open with your children about everything? I am 36 weeks pregnant and very worried about the future. I have a house beside my parents who are needless to say super christians. They dont know of my beliefs and I dont want them to. We have a great relationship right now and if they were to find out then it would destroy everything. Its not worth it. How would I go about teaching my son and being active in this position. We live in an extreamly small community and my parents know pretty much everyone, so it makes it even harder. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I notice a lot of questions on Yahoo Answers, from pre-teens, and early teens, asking about having sex at any age from 11-16 and so on, and asking if this is okay. Some of these questions are probably coming from people just trying to get a rise out of others; however, I do believe that some of these questions are legitimate questions from young children that really want to know about it. Although some of the times, the answers are from more mature people who discourage them from doing anything, some of the answers these children get are from people who are a lot of the times their peers or immature people, who encourage them to go for it. If I were a parent, I definitely would not want my child getting these answers. Do you feel that this is because they are not getting enough discussion from their parents about the issue of sex, and they don't feel comfortable asking them? What's the solution here? Stricter computer monitoring, or parents being more open about sex with them?

A WIC nurse told me it was recommended to teach babies to drink from a regular cup, instead of using a "sipy" cup, because sipy cups are like an extension of the bottle .... I find this hard to do.... Tell me: is it possible to teach a baby to drink from a regular cup, or should I use a sipy cup? Again, I know this sounds ignorant, but I'm a new mom and I keep hearing all these new opinions....

We are both worried but can we rule pregnancy out? We have dabbled a few times on unprotected, but it only went in a few times and didnt't carry on. Any advise?
